Please point out where in the rule book this is prohibited and as ICC has confirmed these changes happen at the end of a long tournament making certain pitches WORN and not worthy of a crucial contest. BOTH CAPTAIN ARE IN AGREEMENT as is ICC

So ICC approving Indian request to play a semi-final match on a pitch of its choice is OK but the above is not? Rules are different for ICC favorites England, India, and possibly Australia of-course.

That is not a change of playing surface but an ACTUAL CHANGE OF VENUE. This is NOT a change of venue. Even a Moron can comprehend the difference

Perhaps they wanted a slowish wkt so that it remains same throughout both the innings, in case they loose the toss and have to bat second. A fresh wankhade wkt would have definitely seamed more under the lights.
