I live close to Southampton but Pakistan is not playing any match in Rose bowl stadium. India playing 2 matches there though but i would have buy ticket if Pakistan would be playing here

We will see what hafeez can do because he has been unfit because of injuries lately that's why left Lahore qaladar early

I doubt Junaid khan will be in team considering his recent form but i think selector should select right team based on condition in England . Player performing on slow pitches in dubai don't necessarily mean that they will also perform in English conditions..Fakhar has done poorly in home condition but has done great away ..amir is also good there

Give this team the support it's due, it wasn't long ago this team won the champions trophy, please don't be downgrading them if they lose a couple of matches early on-media needs to play a better role. Babar, shadab, Fakhar and Amir will be the key. England, Australia and India are stacked too, would be a good Wolrd cup.

I doubt Junaid khan will be in team considering his recent form but i think selector should select right team based on condition in England . Player performing on slow pitches in dubai don't necessarily mean that they will also perform in English conditions..Fakhar has done poorly in home condition but has done great away ..amir is also good there

I agree which is why I am surprised he isn't in the team. I know his form has been off but surely the conditions suit him more than Hasnain or Faheem who are quick but not swing bowlers. Nevertheless, the team is looking strong Alhamdulillah and this should make for a cracking world cup especially with Sarfraz back.

With no offence facts are showing no matter how much we support but Pak expected tema does not have the required venom to counter big guns i.e Hafeez not suitable most of times especially in English conditions, Fakher not performing like past, M Ammir not in best condition despite being the most important player, Shadab Khan not in peak form, Imad Wasim no more match winning all rounder has become more of a bowler, Faheem Ashraf more reliable in bowling.

Shaheen Shah and Usman Shinwari though have pace but they are still learning and prove to be expensive as well as wicket less at times.

What we should do is to have big heart and make place for some better players i.e Abid Ali, Asif Ali and Wahab Riaz & Husnain.

If team still performs good with existing formula combination of Imam Ul Haq, Fakher, Baber Azam, M Rizwan, M Hafeez, Harris Sohail, Shoaib Malik, M Amir, Shaheen Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Waseem, Shadab Khan, Sarfraz, Hassan Ali and Usman Shinwari it will be a miracle. But in the end one should hope that history may not repeat itself as in the past one of our honest foreign coach Bob Wolmer lost his life due to below average prformance of our beloved team.

I think this new format more suit to Pakistan ..plenty of matches and less pressure of knock out at super 8 or quarter final stages....top 4 will qualify direct to semi....I think Pakistan performance in England have been great in all world cup and also they get huge great support from crowd..i still remember 1999 world cup

How is Bob Wolmer's death related to teams performance? Please do your research before posting anything.

I heard on Tv channel as well as read in news paper that substandard performance of Pakistan team made him frustrated and he went to his room afterwords found dead. No debate intended but memory has remained in my mind so shared here to explain current pathetic performance of team though management is to be blamed more rather than team. It is an open fact that foreign high performance coaches perform much better if given a free hand. The same struggle shall be observed after after WC between ex domestic players to get coaching of Pakistan cricket team. If u feel team selection is perfect then it is up to you as I feel pain when figures show that Indian team is going up meanwhile Pak team has question marks.
