IAF SU 30 MKI to participate in RED FLAG 2016

Oh GOD ; Our pilots exercise with each other ALL the time
DAILY they fight with each other in the sky ; that is called training and practice
for keeping their skills sharp

All planes have a ROLE ; they fight wars TOGETHER as a team

In fact the mighty SU 30 and the small Mig 21 also train together
I agree with you, but my point is the same, then what's wrong if F-16 and MIG-21 or Mirage 2000 trains together?

Perhaps you do nt know

The SINGAPORE Air force has placed its F 16 ( which are better than PAF F 16 )
in INDIA ; Kalaikunda Air base on a permanent basis

Singapore is a very small country there is No Airspace to practice

SO ALL IAF planes practice with F 16 to see how they can fight with PAF F 16 in a real war

All means all ; Mig 21 ; Mirage 2000; Mig 29 ; ALL have fought against F 16
in our own country and learnt very good tactics to be used in a war

Yes, I am not expert in the subject. My comments are based on what I read here and in news. Everytime there is any exercise, I see MKIs there. I meant to say, IAF should give rotating chance to other aircrafts too (even Tejas ). so, IAF can measure actual capability of aircraft and learn from it.

That is OK :-)

Tejas will also fight with MKI and Mig 29 within one year

Just after FOC it will learn all the tricks and tactics
And we can hear GOOD news that " Tejas performed very well " :-)

That will make us very happy

But one thing we should remember about the man behind machine,Singapore f16 may be Superior to PAF f16 but Singapore pilots are not, where in red flag we will face both Superior f16 and pilots than PAF. India should sent our medium category fighter for red flag exercise.

Wait for another bs boasting at the end.......

And then more humiliation when reality is revealed.

However, another report added that this isn’t the first time the Indian Air Force publicly claimed a debated victory. Indian Su-30's claimed to have achieved a 9:1 kill ratio against U.S. Air Force F-15C jets during Cope India in 2004.
However, the kill ratio was proved right at the time but it was also explained that the F-15s were defeated because they were called to fight the Su-30s in scenarios that involved six Eagles against up to eighteen IAF aircraft with extra handicaps.

No that is unwise because In Red Flag you get F 16 along with
Eurofighter and Rafale and above all the F 15 ; ALL BIG boys

So all that Our SU 30 pilots learn can be taught to their fellow Mig 29 and Mirage pilots
back at home

But Mig 29 and Mirage have limited capabilities as compared to SU 30

It will be a sheer waste to send them

You are beginning to see NIGHTMARES already :-)

Why don't IAF give chance to other squadron as well ? whenever there is any exercise, we send MKI. IAF should give learning chance to others as well.

Su 30 mki is our front line jet with primary role of air superiority its good that we give more and more exposure to these guys they will be our front line in any war and will also be responsible to undertake SEAD missions. If crew of MKI perform their task well then odds will be our favour in any kind of war.

Other aircrafts in IAF are either interceptors or strike aircrafts. We can train ourselves on that front however for BVR and WVR dogfights we need to train with superior Air forces with different platforms so that we can create a real warlike and more competitive scenario.

Why would you wanna travel half the globe to drop a dumb bomb on a target?

The upgraded mirage and mig are not a less potent fighters.I am not telling to sent these fighters alone.let them participate in a formation mig 29 mirage su 30 combo with phalcon or DRDO AWACS,where we can perform in both bvr and wvr dog fights.
Actually its a waste of resource if send only su 30 with radar restrictions and with out AWACS cover.in that case MKI can do wvr dog fights not bvr interception.Remember we are better in wvr dog fights over NATO pilots, and such exercise will pave the way for NATO to sharpen there wvr dogfight skills but will not give much additions to our bvr skills until and unless we sent our AWACS along with su 30.

And after that there will be new thread Indian Sukhoi beats f-22 by 0-22 and after a week again one more thread IAF refuse to acknowledge...

And of course, they would not use the MKI radar, because it is highly classified tech, obtained 5000 years ago from a Vedic spaceship that crashed in the tea gardens of darjeeling.

Ok, great attempt at trolling! With no provocation.

Good Going!

TTA Members should comport themselves with dignity nowhere to be seen here.
