Indeed PAF pilots are no super human but they have repeatedly given the IAF a bloody nose every time.....as for Pakistani soldiers, try to fight alone without Muktis or US and Israel saving your neck....

PAF was irrelevant in 1971. You could not stop anybody.

The question is not of better its the timing. The timing is too late. The mirages were slanted to retire in 2020 though pushed back due to f16 fiasco it still will be retired by 2025

Will you entire airforce be JF 17 only , there is a limit of operational capabilities of JF-17 and it cant be used for deep strike and bombin roles as effectively as a specialized aircraft , IAF has rafales , Jaguars for deep strike role and you dont have anything to counter.

It can easily go within 700 miles of india and target all major areas we want. Now a days even simple bomb kits have 70 miles stand off range due to gps guidance

India doesnt need rafale for us but china even lca can target all pakistan

At one end people say we dont have an airforce to prevent indian superiority on the other end we talk about deep strikes
If paf holds its own and use
Thunder just as airdefence fighter and stand off plateform for forward indian bases we will be fine

without fuel tanks JF-17 has Combat radius of less than 500 km only and with 7 hardpoints you have limited scope of using weaponry and fuel tank combination. Also its airframe is not suitable for low altitude flying which is required for strike aircraft
