What's new

IAF opts for MWF for it's single engine fighter jet requirement

With those close coupled canards...it's starting to look like Rafale. What engine would be used on this?
GE414 for now. Talks are on between GTRE & Safran to get Kaveri to the required thrust which if successful will be integrated onto the MWF on a later note

GE F414 with 98kn thrust
This is an upgraded version of the F404 engine with 83Kn thrust which powers the Tejas Mark1 and Mark1A

India is procuring 108 units of this engine, 99 for fighters and another 9 as spares

They should have bought Mirage-2000 assembly line when they had the chance.

MBDA has already made it clear Meteor wont be integrated unless radar is of EU origin.

meteor won’t be inducted even in the Mirage 2000H of the Indian airforce
Since it requires at least a PESA radar with a range 200km to actually perform as per expectations.
While the mirage 2000H even after the update only carries a Pulse Dopler radar with a 150km range, hence we purchased the Mica missiles, which were the default AAM of Rafale F1 and F2

Stop spamming this forum you spastic fvck. This failed project won't get you anywhere. Keep buying Rafale fighters LOL

Why do you need to use such language and have such a self-hating attitude? Just ignore the post, the OP, the forum, etc.
Usually when kids talk like this, people point fingers at their mother and father . Are you not shaming your parents here ?
