The 4 Sukhois crashed for reasons like problems with the fly by wire system or foreign objects in the engines. The investigation for the crash of last month is still ongoing. The SU 30s are only flown by experienced pilots.
The Mig 21s (except of the upgraded ones) have exceeded their lifetime. Furthermore the IAF used them with very young and inexperienced pilots.

Furthermore engine troubles were also responsible for the crashes.

Mig-21s are the most loved plane amoung the pilots but the plane is not prone for any error so it is called " Unforgiving beast". There is no way IAF let rookies fly that plane.

I think he is wright, all Mig21 are already crossed their service life, even Bisons. And also rookies of IAF used to fly them; if not than what you think that which plane IAF give to their young piolts. These are least capable plane of IAF.

IAF also terminate the training facility of either mig21/mig27 in order to phase out them.

If ever come across its pilot ask him what he think of the plane. And also ask him which plane he will preffere to fly ??? You will get the surprise answer.

Its understandable that they would want supercruise becasue the same engine Produces supercruise in GRIPEN NG, but the thing is the design factor other then that The LCA looks on Point even if it does not get supercruise you can only use super cruise for about 50kms or so F22 can use it for 75-100 km and then runs out of FUel and that range is on a full tank

LCA Mk 2 is yet to be released and we could know exact specs when it will be launched . The only problem is we dont know when Mk2 would roll up .
