Good step. Will help boost morale of IAF and their confidence. But the reality is, Mig 21 needs to be replaced and the alternatives in the pipeline are stuck in the slow and lengthy process. Unfortunately, the indigenously developed Tejas can't replace these Jets in time else IAF would certainly be a dreaded force. If more crafts are not indicted the declining numbers of
Squadrons will handicap the airpower.

This variant of the Mig-21 is expected to be withdrawn this year. Probably why he is flying it now.

I have 200% trust on the weapons made, modified, operated, maintained, manned etc. in India!!! They’re the best gifts to the Pak Ordu.....
