It is very unlikely that NE India can hold on itself all alone in face of a full PLA assault.
Unfortunately, you do not seem to be aware of the intricacies of mountain warfare.

What do you imply by 'full PLA assault'? Are you aware that an attacking force would need to have a ratio of a minimum of 1:9 for achieving any success against well fortified positions in rugged mountainous terrain? If India has, let's say, six mountain divisions occupying defensive positions in Arunachal Pradesh then China would need to employ at least 50 to 60 divisions for an attack and that too along restricted approaches where deployability is next to nix!

Now, let's say the do manage to get so many divisions together. What about their logistics over tenuous lines of communications? They'll starve to death after day three as interdiction by the IAF would have destroyed all road communications. No ammo, no food, no water! That's a recipe for disaster!

Cheers!

plaaf have advance long range bomber that's india lack of these type of bombers like h-6k.
indian airforce is 1/3 of chinese airforce
china is modernizing its airforce and army very rapidly
if indian need to strike deep in side china than they need long range bombers like su-34 or tu-160

'India can't match China's military force': Indian Naval Chief - IBN Live

India couldn't even beat us in 1962, when their economy was bigger than ours. :azn:

Today, China's economy is FOUR times bigger than the Indian economy, with commensurate military spending. We have never been in a better position vis-a-vis India, than we are in today, not since the founding of the PRC.

Now, as the Indian Armed forces have already admitted, the gap is too big to breach, and getting bigger every day.

Every Second post of yours is the Same...
Sorry to say this but you are the most irritating member here..!!!!

long range bombers will be the easiest target for aur air force and air defence forces ...
and china does not have good enough air force bases in Tibbet right now and from that altitude no plane can carry maximum payload so chinese fighters wont be carrying weapon load to thr capacity as engine performance will be severely impacted coz of high altitude so china has to fly from chengdu or sm northern base to use her fighters to full potential and thr again they wont be able to utilize around 200 odd flankers and 100 j-10s they hav... on the other hand thr are plenty of big air force bases close to tibet border in india..so IAF can easily take out the road rail and communication structures in tibet .. it will be pretty easy for IAF to defend Indian sky's and take strike missions in Tibet ...

That is true, and advantageous to the defender. But the enemy can still take advantage of the terrain since China had some of the highest ridges in the region. That is what they did in 1962.

Don't forget, they also have an air force coupled with cruise and ballistic missiles

Maintaining a war in the long term is not all about the weapons and terrain.

And lastly, I was saying so from a purely defensive perspective considering the OP implied 'striking China'

Yeah, mountain warfare in that place = hell.

Cheers...

We can Run over Bangladesh In that case.
