You guys seriously need to read my article.
http://www.defence.pk/forums/strategic-geopolitical-issues/45328-pakistans-likely-response-indian-surgical-strike.html
This article reeks of a strong American bias. Nonetheless, it is true. IAF over the years has become a far more potent force than the PAF can ever hope to be.
Also, lol @ the Pakistanis who think nukes will be used in case of surgical strikes
Yes, I have read your points, nicely written but its only from military POV.
See, India is not obsessed with military strikes, its all about getting things done, militarily or diplomatically.
ANd I would like to ask a question:-
IS it impossible diplomatically to achieve of what an intended military strike can achieve?
Look, an MKI positioned at Srinagar airbase can reach many areas in Pakistan in less than 5 mins (forget 15 mins) but it all depends what is the nature of engagement.
In a full out war, there will be multiple fronts with many types of aircraft being involved. In a short cross border strike, MKI's and Fulcrums can carry out near border strikes, there is no need for India to use 400 planes for this purpose.
If a deep strike is req, Jaguars will complement the MKI's. But again it depends on the level of engagement.
common man what we have to lose? are you guys wanna see delhi bombay as a desert? its only a words war. IAF surgical strike mean full scale war and if pakistan lose full scale war there will be last punch which means lose for both sides.
