What's new

I, Maha Sapta Sindhu

Stop reading rss, vhp and bjp propaganda and you will see this was totally false, most of these Muslim conquerors were interested in building empire's and though they did defend Muslim populations, they were not interested in converting people.

If muslims had tried to convert every hindu to islam then hinduism would have been exterminated centuries ago. Muslims used to donate huge estates for use as temple sites. The official documentations for these land grants are still extant. These indians are just making fun of the leniency of our muslim rulers

Leniency? Ruler or school teacher

Land grant only made by later tolerant ruler, not by early conquering Invader.

Invader kill, rape and convert by force. Other people convert because no choice. Few convert for political power. That is the game.

Sometime, same ruler kill and convert in one area, and allow temple in another area. Political game.

But always Hindu at the mercy. If Islamic ruler in good mood, he allow temple. If bad mood, then he kill Hindu.

(Gurmukhi)) (1173–1266)[1][2] or (1188 (584 Hijri) - May 7, 1280 (679 Hijri)),[3][4] commonly known as Baba Farid (Punjabi: بابا فرید (Shahmukhi), ਬਾਬਾ ਫ਼ਰੀਦ (Gurmukhi)), was a 12th-century Sufi preacher and saint of the Chishti Order of South Asia.[1]
Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar, a Sufi, is generally recognized as the first major poet of the Punjabi language[3] and is considered one of the pivotal saints of the Punjab region. Revered by Muslims and Hindus, he is also considered one of the fifteen Sikh Bhagats within Sikhism and his selected works form part of the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh sacred scripture

One of Farīd’s most important contributions to Punjabi literature was his development of the language for literary purposes. Whereas Sanskrit, Arabic, Turkish and Persian had historically been considered the languages of the learned and the elite, and used in monastic centres, Punjabi was generally considered a less refined folk language. Although earlier poets had written in a primitive Punjabi, before Farīd there was little in Punjabi literature apart from traditional and anonymous ballads. By using Punjabi as the language of poetry, Farīd laid the basis for a vernacular Punjabi literature that would be developed later.
Among the famous people who have visited his shrine over the centuries are the famous scholar-explorer Ibn Battuta, who visited in 1334,[12] and the Founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev, who met the then head of the shrine, Sheikh Ibrāhīm, twice, and his meeting led to the incorporation of 112 couplets (saloks) and four hymns by Bābā Farid, in the Sikh Holy Book, the Guru Granth Sahib, by the fifth Guru, Arjan Dev in 1604.[4] Guru Nanak was familiar with the verse of Bābā Farīd, and not only includes these verses in the Holy Book, but even comments on some of them.[13] These verses are known to the Sikhs as the Farīd-Bānī; Guru Arjan Dev also added eighteen saloks from the Sikh Gurus, which add commentary to various of Bābā Farīd's work.

Baba Farid as with the other Great Sufi Saints of the Punjab, Sind, Kashmir, and the Frontier through their missionary and humanist works were responsible for the conversion of the people to the Islamic Faith.

Stop reading rss, vhp garbage - these people were responsible for the murder of Gandhi -

There was no forced conversion, if they really wanted to force people - their would not be a single Hindu left in all of india. :hitwall:

What is RSS? What is VHP? I never hear this name before

I read only what Sultan write, what his Wazir rite, what the Ulema and the other Minister write. I read what the court historian and biographer write.

Sufi Saint also responsible for conversion, but not to hardcore islam, only to soft sufi Islam and mostly it is hindus who visit Sufi dargah without converting.

Mughal Emperor allow Christian Church built by Europeans in Walled City of Delhi, but he never allow Hindu Temple because they were consider inferior kaffir.

If he rule over land of Hindus, then should he not allow a hindu temple inside the capital? But no Hindu temple allow inside the Capital.

Islam is Islam do not talk about something you have no understanding of, and why did Hindu Rajputs give their daughters to the Mughals if they were so anti-Hindu. LoL

Conversion was peaceful, even warrior cultures embraced the Islamic creed.

For political reason. They had no choice but to make martial alliance to save kingdom.

You can't have it both ways, either the alliances were with Hindu killers or Islam was spread through love and peace.:smitten:

We all know it was spread by the Sufi Saints and Missionaries.:pakistan:

Me ? I don't have anything. Single way or both way :D

Sultans play dirty politics. Different sultan have different views. Some of them more tolerant, others fundamentalist. Some of them do both things. So it depend.

Invader Muslim kill and loot and rape, always.

We see them as valiant warriors who bought new ways of thinking into the area. May they rest in peace.

And God bless the Sufi's who bought Islam to Pakistan :pakistan:

Read "Chach Nama" to know how people of Sindh were massacred and forcefully converted by Islamic invader.

You don't need to rape and loot to bring "fresh thinking" :D. "Fresh thinking" come from discussion and learning, not from war and killing.

Just like British imperialist use excuses like "Civilizing mission" to justify imperialism, Sultan use "Islamizing mission" to justify Islamic imperialism.

I repeat the people were invited to convert - some did - some did not, but the people doing the inviting were the Sufi's.

Anybody who thinks Islam was spread by the sword is living in a cloud cuckoo land, it is established that the very vast majority of conversions were achieved by their humanist love and understanding of the Sufi Saints.

Invited  Why do you keep repeating same thing?

Why do you not read how Sultan "invited" people to convert? Read original account by any Sultan from subcontinent about his "invitation" to people :D

Atleast read "chach nama" which is there on the internet. Lot of "invitation" over there.

Why are you excited by it, the people who converted are still loyal and proud of their religion, why are indians so offended by it, even if what you say is true, (which I don't) what does it have to do with non-Muslims, if they are still true believers today, what does it matter how they were converted.

Sufi's Muslims were the converters my friend, except that reality, even today people of other faiths including Hindu's and Sikh's visit these Shrines. :pakistan:
