While the urinating incident was very wrong, he killed French soldiers knowing that they hadn't don't it and it was the Americans. This is as wrong as killing some Uzbek person just because Talibs are Afghans.

French are allies of the US no? For Afghans all Westerners are the same, makes no difference to them. That is why the actions of the marines were so ridiculously dumb. Not only did their actions put the lives of their own fellow soldiers including those of their allies at greater risk, but also convinced many anti Taliban Afghans that the NATO troops are even worse than the Talibs.

This happens when NATO is supposed to be trying to win the hearts of the Afghan people, which is the only way that they can win this war. Victory can only be achieved by getting the people on your side, not by militarily defeating Talibs, who easily mingle amongst the locals only to remerge when NATO troops are gone. Defeating them with out the locals help is impossible.

So when Taliban beheads people its more acceptable? Was there really outrage when the Taliban executed the Pakistani soldiers? Can the Taliban win with terror?

This makes NO sense. If he was a "sleeper" Taliban agent then he did this because he was a Taliban (as has happend numerous times in the past), but if he was not part of the Taliban then they are his enemy and hence shouldn't be this outraged by actions like the Marines' against those he will fight.


Cheap PR tactic really. The Taliban can't claim moral high ground when it comes to human rights and the like, nothing US forces have done in Afghanistan has been anywhere near as awful as what the Taliban used to do on a daily basis.

Taliban beheading Pakistani soldiers is disgusing as well but pissing on the dead by your men is actually worse. After you shoot a person to dead, you would expect a person's body to either be returned to their families or to burry them with respect. Your troops haven't done both of these things and pissing on them afterwards shows that you are worse then animals. I'm damn sure that our soldiers who were beheaded by taliban, have at least been returned back to their families.

There are 2 types of Taliban. One, in which Pakistan supports in Afghanistan, and one in Pakistan, in which the U.S and India supports and provides weapons to. If you stop funding Pakistani Taliban, then war on terror will be resolved on our side.

I'm not supporting anybody here. I don't like to see Taliban killing Pakistani soldiers. It is pretty disturbing. But that is you who should be asking your self all this. What good have you done to this world? Your funding and your weapons are in their hands...

You probably don't know this, but the U.S is responsible to make Taliban. Why? Well its because there was Afghan-Soviet War. Why the heck should the U.S would want to help Taliban since it is sitting thousands of kilometres away. The West has interests and that is power or supremacy over the world.

When you talk about Persian empire, well it was dominated in the East. Atleast they didn't take over this whole world.

for starters... taliban do have a right to defend.. i agree.. i never said they didnt... secondly, if the usa didnt support the taliban, russia would control afghanistan still today... and yes a terrorist is someone who deliberately kills innocent people.. something the taliban do quite often.. even blow up their own people to fight america.. how is that not backwards?? lol

i think america been in too many wars, but that because no one else will stand up and do it otherwise.. if the usa didnt involve itself.. the world would be a much more dangerous place

I disagree on that part. Read about Pashtuns in Afghanistan, they have never been ruled. The same pashtuns are also in Pakistan having their own province called 'paktunkhwah'. They are the world's best warriors. Anyone who tries to invade them would be an idiot. If the English people (superpower at that time) lost to them, so did Russia. In fact is, Russians did get themselves killed there and that was how they lost their superpower. The Americans are a dumb a$$. Their ego will kill them. The reality is, the Americans and as well as the rest of the NATO is not winning the war. Those warriors in the country are masters in gurilla war and they have never been ruled even by the world's greatest superpowers.
