Sometimes I find the ignorant attitude of pakistanis towards India really surprising, but mostly I let it be!!! I have read posts of Indian members shouting at the top of their voices clearing india's point of view, but sumhow the pakistani posters manage to skip that post everytime, and rather reply back to some flame-war post which was already continuing.... still, I will try to make an endeavour to clear certain things from Indian point of view:
1. No Indian child is ever "taught" at home or at school (syllabus or otherwise) to hate pakistan!! SERIOUSLY!!! We of course learn certain things as we grow up... But I wouldn't count that amounting to "hatred". Actually, when I was growing up, what I used to hate about pakistan was their "cricket team"- javed miandad, ramiz raja, salim malik, and how can I forget that a$$ shakoor rana!! what he did at sharjah was sin! and yet I was a fan of IMRAN! and I respected waqar younis, and even wasim bhai!!! I didn't know anything beyond that and "something wrong done by pakistan wrt kashmir". FULL STOP! and today's kids, my family included, wonder why we talk so much and care so much about "THAT COUNTRY, PAKISTAN"!!! they would rather talk about china and USA!!!
2. Next, even I have read history. and even neutral side of it. partition happened. yes, i repeat..partition happened. and lives were lost. from both sides, from all religions, everywhere. My neutral mind never said even for one second that it was "pakistanis" who did it! its common sense. the "haiwans" did it. and they had no religion.
3. next, about kashmir. once again, with reference to what I read in school and what i came to know later. It was a shock, When, in COLLEGE, I came to know that the map of India which I have seen all my life is wrong!!! Pakistan-0ccupied-kashmir and aksai-chin haven't been with us since ages!!! then I read "neutral" history, the more I read it , the more it confused me! India or pakistan, No one's right, and no one's wrong!!! today, if kashmir goes, india breaks apart. so whatever happens, whatever losses occur, life or property, india CANNOT afford to let go whatever of kashmir is left with it.... and PAKISTAN!!! it is continuing its existence with the name of kashmir!!! so its impossible for them to let go or even keep kashmir aside. everyone can add his own views, or whatever he percieves as the TRUTH! but the ground reality is what I have said, and I don't see it changing atleast in my life time, except for a miracle!!!
4. For pakistani members, India WILL NEVER attack you (except for an extreme case like a 9/11 against India, and even then its a remote possibility). I am not saying that pakistan should relax even if Indian parliament passes a resolution for this. Your army should always be ready to meet any eventuality. i am just telling you what every sane Indian knows deep within his heart!!!
5. We can keep accusing each other-RAW, ISI, whatever! the truth is, if sumthing happens within a country's border, its the responsibility of that country. PERIOD. so stop accusing the other person for stealing your chocolate, and rather apply common sense, and find the chinks in your own armour...
6. Last, only talking about Indian Hindus. MORE THAN 95% of hindus (including me) don't care about "AKHAND BHARAT" or whatever that is which paistanis keep accusing Indians here of. I am leaving 5%, because, to be very frank, I don't know how many hindus have even an appreciation for things like hindutva and all. To be frank, my family,I remember very clearly, were horrified to see Babri demolition on TV... My grand-father said, "its so sad, this will end up into another partition like riots...." He had seen the horrors of partition...and being a sensible person, he was dead-against any such thing happening... But today I know, that at times, that 0.1% of radical community also does win... we need to keep them under check...
