Kejriwal however is not Gandhi.

Gandhi was a deeply religious man who aspired to take India to Ram Rajya. He also admired people from the world over for their convictions- including some arabs as a way to better himself. He wasn't out to win votes.

However we all know the sole reason what Kejriwal is doing this for - to take Muslim votes. If he continues his pseudo secular muslim pleasing ways, then Delhi will dump him in the next elections like Delhi dumped Congress.

Arabs were rich they were able to read and right..

Few of them were able to read and write though but still few does not mean that they had to work hard to find some one who knew how to write. They were known to learn by heart. Arabs were famous that an Arab knows his entire shajra e nasb by heart. They did not love to read and write.
Hazrat Umar (RA) by the way was educated and knew how to read and write apart from being qualified in wrestling, horse riding and sword fighting.

I pay income tax which is calculated based on my income, not my religion. Everyone in India does and it is equal for all.

Unlike the extremist bigoted taxation system in which Muslims pay one kind of tax, the non-Muslims another, the rates of both vary as per the whims of the ruler!

All the while non-Muslims cannot join the Army even when they are citizens of the state.

There is no place in civilized societies for such barbaric practices!

Maybe you call this 'good governance model'. The rest of us don't.

Do you understand the concept of differentiating between your own citizens based on religion?

non- Muslims pay jizya while Muslims pay zakat, all the while the taxation rates of the two are set separately and are different regardless of the level of income.

1. So in a sense a ruler can simply implement a higher taxation level in jizya to incentivize people to convert to Islam..
2. and the non-Muslims cannot join the army...
3. and pay a higher level of taxes ostensibly because they don't have the 'burden' of joining the army and defending the country.

A triple whammy for the non-Muslims.

As opposed to what Civilized States have - a concept called income tax which calculates taxes based on what the individual earns instead of having different taxes based on what religion the individual belongs to.


This is the difference between barbarian culture and civilized cultures.

And you thought you could pass off the 'everyone pays taxes in a nation' line to confuse those who don't know what these barbarian practices are.
