What's new

Huawei P20 (899Euros) Released: 40 MP RGB camera, AI-driven photography system, and 4000 mAh battery

Good, wether you failed to comprehend the rethoric even when I literally spelled it out to you because you seem to be a slow one or pretend to be stupid, at least you can only agree that we shouldn't start talking completely random bullshit. We can skip over the rethoric either way.

Now lets get back to the question I actually asked and you never answered:

Explain to us how

in that article, turned into

in your post, without resorting to another deflecting and projecting rant.

Again, what is the difference?

Sold and Ship is the same thing in mobile phone, in fact, if not, unit ship would be GREATER than unit sold, because you can ship something that is not sold.

And again, the phone was sold for 5 months, and yesterday, it was 5 months and 3 or 4 days (depends on where you started counting) so, again, what is the frickin difference?

Tell me why and how what I said is not reflecting what the president of Huawei said?

What a giant BOLO. lol you accuse me for being deflected and yet you seems to be the one that is deflecting the fact, I even COUNTED the days for you, and yet you still say what I said is different and talk about 2017. (no where in my post I have refer to 2017) LOL such a genius, must be the high IQ genes lol

Huwai P20 is brilliant mobile and with best camera , but not having 3.5mm jack and S Pen is deal breaker for me. I will wait for Samsung Note 10.

Again, what is the difference?
what is the frickin difference?
Tell me why and how what I said is not reflecting what the president of Huawei said?

So you are still trying to tell us with a straight face these two statements (first real one, second yours pretending to cite it) are equivalent and literally putting it next to each other and highlighting the difference is not clear enough, but a "who cares about 3 days" somehow perfectly explains why they are equivalent? That's a YES or NO question. Maybe we get a straight answer from you this way.
"Huawei at the IFA 2018 announced that it has sold 10 million units of P20 Pro and P20 smartphones globally in the first five months."
"According to Huawei themselves, they just crossed 10 millions ship mark last night (which is about 6 to 7 months)"

and talk about 2017. (no where in my post I have refer to 2017)
So your reading comprehension is really so poor you didn't understand the line literally explaining I was just aping your attempts to dodge the point and respond to shit no one said, which would be usually redundant to explain even to little kids?
Did that have anything to do with your post? No? So can we skip over these poor attempts to dodge the question, making up shit the other person never said?

The real one site first 5 months, what I said is referred to 5 months and 4 days, tell me what is the difference?

Are you suggesting that in that 4 days extra, P20 outsell Samsung S9?

So your reading comprehension is really so poor you didn't understand the line literally explaining I was just aping your attempts to dodge the point and respond to shit no one said, which would be usually redundant to explain even to little kids?

Well, except I have NEVER talked about 2017. You do, looks like you are the one aping, BOLO.

Also, a phone is being "REVEALED or REVIEWED" does not mean that phone is being released immediately, Samsung S9 was revealed in Jan 2018, and only go on sale very late march 2018, which mean there are a few months in between. And being REVEALED in October 18 itself is already lies in Q4 2018, so at best case scenario, Mate 20 are released in Q4 2018, if not, it can goes as far as Q1 2019.

:lol::rofl:

HUAWEI Mate 10

I like how he changed the wording from "impossible" and "earliest" to "can" be released later, but still tries to stick with the same story. Looks like we all know what's the most likely "scenario" is, considering past release schedules and given even the "impossible" already happend, but someone just hates to admit it.

Makes you wonder who hands out positive ratings for this consecutive ignorant layman bullshit from someone who cant even correctly reflect the contents of a layman article or operate a website to order a TV.

Then they will be sadder when Huawei claims global leader in smart-phone shipments.

I believe Huawei's exponential growth period has just begun. In due time it will comfortably become a 400-500 billion company - along with many others such as JD and Alibaba.

Huawei wins “Best Smartphone of the Year” award from EISA for HUAWEI P20 Pro

1.jpg

Shenzhen, China – August 15, 2018 – Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) today received an award from the European Image and Sound Association (EISA), a group comprising 55 of the world's most respected consumer electronics magazines. The HUAWEI P20 Pro was named
"EISA Best Smartphone 2018 - 2019" by the association in recognition of Huawei's commitment to quality, design and performance, as well as the company's long track record of introducing stylish, powerful and winning devices. This is the sixth consecutive year that Huawei has been recognized by the EISA.

"For us the most important reward is creating products that let consumers enjoy and have fun with smartphone photography. The HUAWEI P20 Pro provides a wealth of photography features to help capture and share the moments that mean the most to our users," said Li Changzhu, Vice President of Handset Business for Huawei Consumer Business Group.

EISA selected the HUAWEI P20 Pro as the best smartphone of the year for being "the most advanced, innovative and technically superior smartphone ever," as well as "the perfect companion for mobile users, [and] also a trendsetter in the mobile photography field."

The revolutionary Leica Triple Camera on HUAWEI P20 Pro boasts the highest total pixel count among all smartphone cameras on the market today. In addition, it supports 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid zoom, plus innovative features including HUAWEI AIS (AI image stabilization).

The sleek design of the HUAWEI P20 Pro features barely-there bezels and all-new gradient colours. Thanks to the world's first AI-powered chipset, the phone delivers a fast and smooth user experience. The premier camera features allow for a superb low-light photography experience, making it one of the few devices capable of shooting long-exposure photos clearly without a tripod, owing to Huawei's proprietary AIS technology. In addition, the 4000 mAh battery puts the HUAWEI P20 Pro among the smartphones with the largest battery capacities. Taken together, the HUAWEI P20 Pro represents "a winning combination of great hardware, optics and craftsmanship," noted EISA.

EISA members include expert media across the full spectrum of consumer electronics from 27 countries, and each member contributes to one or more of EISA's six Expert Groups—namely photography, mobile devices, Hi-Fi, home theatre audio, home theatre display & video, and in-car electronics. Every year, EISA members nominate a list of products that they consider the standout performers in each of these Expert Groups. Nominations are then presented at EISA's AGM, where members conduct an in-depth deliberation before voting for the winner of each category.

The award will be formally presented to Huawei during IFA at the EISA Awards Ceremony on August 31 in Berlin.

The full official EISA award citation is as follows:
"With its dazzling glass finish, impressive 6.1in, 1080 x 2240 px resolution AMOLED screen, 18:9 ratio, dependable 4000 mAh battery equipped with Super Charge functionality and – last but not least – amazing triple camera system on its back, co-produced by Leica, the HUAWEI P20 Pro is the most advanced, innovative and technically superior smartphone ever. The perfect companion for mobile users, it is also a trendsetter in the mobile photography field due to the stunning photos and videos it produces. The core imaging technology includes a primary 40-megapixel F/1.8 colour sensor, combined with two secondary sensors – a black and white 20-megapixel F/1.8 and 8-megapixel ultra-zoom F/2.4 for colour. It's a winning combination of great hardware, optics and craftsmanship."

Previously, EISA named HUAWEI P10 "EISA Smartphone Camera 2017 - 2018," HUAWEI WATCH 2 "EISA Wearable Device 2017 - 2018" and HUAWEI P9 "European Consumer Smartphone 2016 - 2017."

Huawei announces EMUI 9.0 an android Pie-Based OS designed to enhance users’ quality of life

Registration for the beta of EMUI 9.0 is now open

BERLIN, Germany – September 1, 2018 – At IFA 2018, Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) announced EMUI 9.0, the next major update to the Android-based operating system (OS) from Huawei. As one of the first Android Pie-based custom systems, EMUI 9.0 offers a premium user experience that is underpinned by an intuitive interface and rich features. The EMUI 9.0 is currently on beta, which is now open for registration. Additional features will be launched together with the upcoming HUAWEI Mate 20 Series.

The latest Huawei custom OS was designed to feel more natural and streamlined than ever. Huawei has reimagined and consolidated many of the settings to minimise the number of steps a user has to go through to get things done. Overall, EMUI 9.0 performs 12.9 percent faster than its predecessors, and supports faster app launch speeds. For instance, EMUI 9.0 launches Instagram 12 percent faster and Spotify 11 percent faster.1 Combining the top-class performance of the recently announced Kirin 980, EMUI 9.0 will deliver an unparalleled user experience on the HUAWEI Mate 20 Series.

news1.png

At an exclusive media event, Dr. Wang Chenglu, President of Software Engineering, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said: “Today’s smartphones are loaded with an abundance of features, to a point where they can be overwhelming to everyday users. Many users have also expressed their frustrations regarding increasingly complicated features. It was against this backdrop we set out to develop a version of EMUI that will help consumers enable a quality life. EMUI 9.0 is born from a commitment to creating an enjoyable, consistent and simple experience. Every change, from consolidating the settings menu, to optimising the performance, to including new digital wellbeing and productivity features, is made to ensure EMUI 9.0 delivers a great, user-friendly experience. Furthermore, with the launch of EMUI 9.0, Huawei becomes one of the first handset makers to launch a custom OS that is based on Android Pie, which I think speaks volumes of our close relationship with Google.”

EMUI 9.0 comes with GPU Turbo 2.0, the second generation of Huawei’s innovative graphics processing acceleration technology, which supports even more games and at a greater capacity. The latest iteration of the solution can intelligently optimise intensive workloads and give the devices a performance boost on demand while reducing power consumption. Besides gaming, the solution also improves other areas that are essential to a quality user experience, such as touch screen responsiveness, network connectivity, the Uninterrupted Gaming mode, and more.

Another major feature coming with EMUI 9.0 is HiVision, which enables the camera app to recognise major landmarks and famous paintings and provide users with information using its augmented reality capability. Simply by pointing their smartphone cameras to an object of interest, users will be provided with information ranging from history to interesting facts. EMUI 9.0 also features a new Password Vault, where users can securely store their encrypted password with face or fingerprint for various services and retrieve easily whenever they need them.

news2.jpg

As EMUI 9.0 was designed to help users lead an enriched and balanced life, digital wellbeing is also a big focus of the new OS. EMUI 9.0 features a new Digital Balance dashboard, which tracks device usage metrics and allows users to set usage quota for each app; and Wind Down, which helps users to relax before heading to bed.

news3.jpg

At its official launch, EMUI 9.0 will support the latest Huawei devices. Additional features will be available after HUAWEI Mate 20 Series is launched. More information will be announced at a later date.

EMUI 9.0 is currently in beta. Registration for the EMUI 9.0 beta is now open to European Huawei device users2. Please visit your local Huawei official website to register your interest.
