What's new

Huawei has run out of chipsets for its smartphones

Every country has silicon too. Turning silicon into chips is another story. Refining RE is not as easy as you think.

Huawei did patent infringement in UK so no more 5G contract for Huawei

now Huawei is making batteries for bikes I heard

100%
I would legit buy another one, but you can't.

Also, I am still scared of spyware that reports directly to the CCP.
Outside of that, great phones.
thing is all phones spy on you. I refuse to accept that Huawei will spy on you. what about microsoft, google, meta, twitter and so on forth.

its funny that Chinese devices spy on you but others don't.

No one said others don't spy on you.
The difference is that by law Huawei has to give your info to the CCP while western companies don't.

u do realise u have given ur details to thousands of companies by signing onto websites and apps like facebook and twitter right?
yep.
I just want to limit the amount of information the CCP gets on me.

Chor Ki Darrhi Mein Tinka
I am going to disengage with you as I do not want to talk about this topic but you really need to seek help if your first thought is that.

Semicon is established tech, what are you supposed to use?
Companies become rivals and against US interests when it gets ahead of US tech. It's happend to French & Japanese companies.

US is pimping with patent rents, paradoxically, a lot of high end patents were developed by Chinese. US needs Chinese IQ. Never heard any Pakistani invent anything for the US @Rusty2 ?
Huawei is a good example, use established tech, adaptive innovation to best establish tech and on the way to invent your own.

I think you guys pre-ejaculated - the run of chips were from 2019. The US has no legitimate information about Huawei or the Chinese economy. It speculates from external trade partners, because of this obscurity it doesn't really know Huawei next move.
From spy satalites (why?;)) spotted Huawei building a new fab.
Something has spooked the cunts in the US, they are now thinking of banning Huawei from the international financial system lol. Imagine a company taking on the worlds superpower and still standing8-)
What?
let me give you an example that you will understand.
Lets say you have a camel, and you decide to not rent out your camel to this one customer for whatever reason.
Are you now pimping out your camel?
Is that how commerce works in your mind?
Have you ever bought or sold anything?
Are you a pimp now?

Are you sure Japan and other western countries have mastered all RE refining technologies? Actually China is biggest raw RE materials importer. China refines the raw materials and then exports RE products. The cycle won't work anymore if other countries have refining technology

How do you think electronics were built before China entered the RE market in the late 1990's?

Again the modern world did not start in the year 2000.

cuzz, all these tech giants work with the gov. case in point is twitter files.

The 1990s have called mikey. They want their “only white man can make magical technology “ ideology back

Technology is not magic….. its purely a numbers game.

The western countries looted and genocided the rest of the earth to build up their wealth levels and maintain a monopoly on RD development. By poaching the best minds of the earth

Those trends are over my friend.

West has overplayed its hand. Nobody wants to be dependent on them anymore.

Technology or finances. Even western allied countries were absolutely shocked and horrified when they saw how lawless the western system is when they blatantly tried to steal russias money
Whats to stop them stealing their money in the future? Is what arab and asian allied countries to the west are thinking. There is no system or rules, just the whims of western think tanks and lobbysts pullingtheir “politcians” strings

Say goodbye to western financial/ technologicL dominance. The western edge is eroding by the day. You can live off looted wealth for only so long my delusional friend
In 1990 a lot of advanced electronic devices sold in the West were Japanese.

It's not a matter of ethnicity, but of developed countries.

Developing country concerns are about food and basic things.

Developed countries can waste money and time making videogames and stupid things like that.

lol, CCP does not even know the meaning of noble.

China does not act on rare earth because it knows it can't.
Every country has rare earth, they just need to process it. But since China was doing it for cheap, no need.
If China acts tough on rare earth, the other countries will simply start processing their own.
Actually, Australia have been working its way up to Rare Earth Processing because of that. Australia is now ranked 2nd of World Processing at 17,000 tons at around 10% of world needs. But sitting at 4th biggest deposit in the world.

There are already law passed to increase that number to around 40,000 tons by 2030 and 50,000 tons by 2035. Compare to Chinese production of 140,000 in 2020.

It's kind of late for China trying to hold world hostage on Rare Earth Material.

1)China dominated RE export from 1980's. 2)Today's electronics are much more sophisticated

The new U.S. plan to rival China and end cornering of market in rare earth metals

The US has long relied on China for rare earth metals, but domestic supply chains are being pursued as climate and technology investments increase under Biden.

RE has many elements. Only China can refine all elements so far.

So? You can deny China dominated RE export from 1980's? World RE demand in 1980's was not as big as today because as I said electronics are much more sophisticated today.

Just search Edward Snowden.

It will open your eyes.

If being spied is something unavoidable, being spied by US is alway on the top of the list that I want to avoid. Because only being spied by US has substantial consequence. CIA, US military bases are at every corner of the earth. And US has a tradition of long arm jurisdiction. Still remember how Huawei CFO was arrested? She was spotted by US intelligence agency from the first minute when she left China. Besides Meng Wanzhou, many non-US entrepreneurs were arrested by US.

lol bro, everyone knows about Snowden

Since you are in China, behind the CCP firewall and not allowed access to US websites or services, you have nothing to fear.
CCP however, has your ID number for EVERY SINGLE THING you post online... except on PDF... which you are illegally using a VPN to access.

This is actually a good lesson for countries around the world who value their independence to not rely on the US technology.

I think lessons are mutual, hence we are closer to a technological?/economic bloc politics.

The trend seems to be:

Don't rely on the US for high tech.
Don't rely on Russia/Iran for energy
Don't rely on China for manufacturing/precious metals

Hence countries are making blocs/pacts.

Iran and Russia are having a hot-rod honeymoon. North Korea courting on the sidelines. Japan working to cut down on reliance on China's rare metals. Europe rediscovering US LNG. China going to Africa...

All part and parcel of diversification and non-reliance efforts.

West has overplayed its hand. Nobody wants to be dependent on them anymore.

Like this?

As you see, decoupling is a global trend.
