How will US election affect Turkey?

the others are staying silent.

What if they were as wealthy as people who live in Izmir or at least they had their remarkable business instead of smuggling! Do you think they could be silent when PKK endangers their interests?

I see your point. Although there are many Kurds that matching with your description in Western parts of Turkey, unfortunetely, there are not many in the eastern provinces, because no one wants to invest in the eastern parts due to sabotages of PKK to any investment that meant to increase the quality of the Kurds life.

Like i said, PKK is feeding from the misery of Kurds so they want to keep it that way by burning schools, keeping people ignorant; by burning construction machines of investors, keeping the region underdeveloped.

Educated Kurds getting better life standarts, but education is not much popular in the Kurdish society, although its getting better recently I think(thanks to the many campaigns that encouraged the education of the Kurdish children by small economical donations from the people), PKK is firmly againts the Kurdish children being educated in Turkish schools, thats why they kidnap teachers, damage schools etc.

Also TurAr is right about the investments, eastern regions being seen as conflict zone by the investors, nobody would want to risk their business, its mainly about the private investments, I2m firmly againts the thought of that "government discriminated the eastern regions in devolepments" western regions were not different, many of them still not different.

.
You can easily tell from the applications for the new investment incentive that was aimed at those regions that not even no tax and financial support from the government can get corporations to invest there. Everyone is clearly avoiding those regions close to the Iranian/Syrian border

There are approximately 5000 militants in PKK and 15-20m Kurd in Turkey.

What i'm saying is although majority of the Kurds in Turkey are not supporting PKK, but they are not showing the necessery reaction either.

It is good for the villagers but 300 is far from enough.

I'm just hoping for the Kurd's patience to wear thin about PKK before the Turk's, because after that it will be too late, and won't matter if they supported PKK or not...
