How to secure our beloved Pakistan

You are comparing apples with oranges here, while there could be a case for sending mohajirs to their original places of origin in india, you cannot apply that measure to Pashtuns, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Balochis or Sindhis because they are living in their indigenous lands whose cities, villages and towns were founded by their ancestors themselves.
So if Quaid was alive you would send him back to India????

So you are bigoted against them - good to know.

Recent comment suggest such an upbringing

Here are some recommandations to secure our country Pakistan, it will also help us for kashmir cause.

  • Secure Pakistani borders from all sides
  • Deploy more troops on afghan/iran border
  • Make police a national institution
  • Get rid of remaining militants in pakistan (if any)
  • Eliminate our ennemies hiding in neighbour Countries and beyond
  • Eliminate corrupt politicians and media persons (we must do this)
  • GO OFFENSIVE Against India in IOK
Pakistan is weak(not perfect) internally due to lack of nationalist narrative and economic mismanagement ..the forces that made pakistan weak are still VERY popular therefore the country as whole is at serious threat..alot of work is needed in this domain

No one is talking about curbing our ambitions but reorientation of the focus where it's required.
Curbing your ambitions wouldn't bring economic growth ... economy has always followed ambition... There are way too many examples but just consider Europe few centuries back...people should never make poverty state of mind... keep it a fleeting part of one's life... either it will remain for the whole life or turn into prosperity but values must transcend this cycle.

Going back to the topic, Pakistan should own its backyard and values and be on offensive against India. The way things are and have been though simmering are more apparent now... it is zero sum game between Pakistan and India, the two are antithetical to each other on very conceptual level. India has to divvy up in to its constituent parts something akin to pre-colonial India for everyone to live in peace and perhaps prosperity.

In these and similar maps lies India's future.

Before any of that we need to work on our economic situation , brother. Any action we take needs resources to be sustained.

"The sinews of ware are infinite money." - Cicero.

When will we realize that wars these days, specially with nuclear rivals, are predominantly economic? The foundations lie in a healthy and educated population, and not in fancy weaponry, and yet our national priorities remain antithetical to this truth.

Cicero is love.
Take a look around, sir, it'd be quite a while: everyone here is a self proclaimed SSG who'd take Kashmir in a day and then stroll to Dehli like Timur just for fun. Unfortunately, we don't have people who even like to think realistically.

The saddest moments in my life are when I do look around and come to the inescapable conclusions about the futility in trying to reverse the situation. As I watch my grandkids grow, the realization that one must look forward to the future and not into the the past hits home these lessons very hard.

What must be done to protect Pakistan is a good question, but what good are the answers when we are incapable of implementing them?

Halls of power are out of reach of the common man. In this day and age of mobile phones, I should be able to petition any elected official for changes in governance. I have no recourse to any issues I face while interacting with government, with the bureaucracy actively hampering any effort to the effect.

If Pakistan is to continue democracy, put the power in the hand of the common man. Else we can do just fine being communists. We don't have a need for a parliament if they do not as much lend an ear to the problems of the people who put them there in the first place.

.
More importantly, sir, implementing is a farther option what disturbs me is even conceptualizing them. We can only hope we give your grandchildren and their generation a better world than the one we've inherited.

I tried. I failed. But at least I tried my level best, both in real life and on PDF. All I have left is hope, and precious little of it.

What has me unusually dejected these days is all the implications of the PIA crash and the pilot license saga, which run so deep for those who may wish to analyze them. There was a time when medical degrees from Pakistan were recognized the world over, and the parallels between what happened with them and now what will happen with these licenses are inescapable.

How can we even claim to love Pakistan when this is what we do?!

Any form of nationalism has to be based in behavioural shows of altruism; once that's not detected then it's quite clear that all notions of passionate words are just those, words.

Economy needs to be improved, but along with that borders with Iran and Afghanistan needs to be sealed and fenced properly backed by cameras and motion sensors and other surveillance tools. Slowly but gradually equip FC KPK and FC Baluchistan with Tanks and Artillery and Attack Helicopters plus increase their size.

Increase Police size of every province starting from 30 biggest cities of Pakistan. Increase the size of Police according to UN Standards and plus equip them with patrolling cars and other stuff. Increase size and of both Navy and Air Force and as economy improves equip them with aggressive weapons not defensive one.

Get rid of corrupt thugs like Zardari and Nawaz forever and slowly establish Political parties which are not family enterprises. ISI needs to go on offence against traitors hiding abroad and enemy countries.

Finally to achieve all this once again improve your ecomomy and crush the corruption and the corrupt ruthlessly.

Very well said. And hence my present state of mind, which would also explain further to you what I said in our conversation about my negative ratings and my gradual disengagement from this forum.
