Get a vacuum cleaner with an attachment and vacuum the vents, see if that works. And for the virus I recommend Avast antivirus Avast Free Antivirus 2014 - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

How to clean malware (aka Viruses) / Make your computer faster
  1. Download malwarebytes Anti Malware and run it (Malwarebytes | Internet Security Product Downloads)
  2. Download CCleaner and run it (CCleaner - Download)
  3. Go to control panel and click on programs and uninstall the stuff that you never downloaded.
  4. If you dont have any antivirus protection download Comodo because it is free and doesn't expire (Comodo Internet Security Premium - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com)
  5. Download Kapsersky TDSS Killer and run it (Kaspersky TDSSKiller - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com)
  6. Download Ad blocker for your browser (Adblock Plus - Surf the web without annoying ads!)
  7. Search "Disk Defragmentor" in programs and run it
  8. Search for "msconfig" on your computer and disable unnecessary start up programs

Take it to the service center and stop trying to be a technician if you don't know.

First of all lets answer this question;
Does the fan makes strange sounds when you turn on your cooled down laptop?
If the answer is no, then your fan is most likely not the problem.
Check this one too, turn on your laptop, let the windows load completely, wait 2 or 3 mins, now check your CPU and physical memory usage status?
If they are in a normal condition, (A normal idle pc usage of cpu should be around 0 percent and memory usage depends on the operating system), then most likely there is no virus involved in the situation either.
Then there are different possibilities, maybe there are some dusting problem in that case blowing the fan either pc on or off won't solve the problem or it can make the situation even worse, but you need to open up your laptop and make a thorough cleaning, or maybe some software malfunctioning (for example OS problem) which would require an OS recovery or re installing your OS.

In an ideal situation, if there is no dust on the heatsink/fan, then even with the CPU at 100%, you laptop's cooler should do the job fine. If there is dust, then even at 20% of CPU load your cooling would be bad. So i suggest you get a can of air duster, or else open up your laptop carefully, then access the fan/heat sink and use a blower over it. I don't recommend hair dryer unless you can use it with it's heating element off. Even a forceful blow from your mouth would do. :P

Ever heard of Black and Decker KTX5000 It will blow away dust and whatever there is in the laptop. Give it a try.

Satisfaction guranteed

Search google for Asus A53S service manual. It will give detail description of how to access the fan and remove the screws. Usually, you have to remove the Battery, HDD, RAM etc to access the motherboard/fan.

I think that’s the last we'll see of him until he gets a new laptop :D jk best of luck.
