The Indians here say China is not secular, because apparently our state gives more importance to Atheism. :P

But actually it is the Chinese government itself that is promoting Confucianism, Buddhism and other traditional Chinese belief systems recently.

The "Confucius institutes" for example.

Not exactly secular either though.
Good initiative, i believe the Chinese people should stick to their old tried and tested traditions ,culture and religion, beliefs like Confucianism and Buddhism. It will bring peace and unity in between people, although Atheism is not bad either, i seen many new generation chinese are Atheists while their Parents still revere Buddha and Jade Emperor etc.
Atheism on the long run might lead to depression, such people can take solace in Chinese belief systems and not External influences like the Abrahamic Religions, which alienate the person from others and country.

The Cheetah went extinct in South Asia in 1951. Iran has Asian Cheetahs while India has Asian Lions. India wants Iran to donate one pair of Asian Cheetahs while refusing to donate a pair of Asian Lions to Iran. Even the genocidal Gujarat state refuses to send Asian Lions to another Indian state. Isn't time to think of welfare and protection of endangered Lions and Cheetah rather than your national or local monopolies of these animals.

The dog was sleeping bro, clearly you can see from the video, the Leopard ambushed him and got him by his neck when he woke up.

Actually that part I could not see clearly as the leopard moves out of the frame and then suddenly reappears with the struggling dog in its jaws. I have 4 dogs at home, I've grown up around dogs all my life. Even if they are sleeping, they have an animal instinct (plus very acute hearing and vibration sensitivity to footsteps) which makes them alert to someone approaching.

What happened here is that the dog was cornered within the corridor leading to the door of the (owner's?) flat. And the lack of barking can be easily explained by it being petrified into complete submissive cowering silence. There was nowhere for it to run.

This sort of thing is very common around the Powai, IIT, Hiranandani area in Mumbai.

Hard to imagine India cannot alllow tigers to be 10,000 in number with huge forest reserves and wild areas
all the natural resouce rich areas were taken up by India

Those partition folks really were blind they awarded all the good zones to India forest , trees , water etc

Experts calculate that with what we have left, we can support 3500 (ideal) to max 5000 tigers before there is tiger man overlap and conflict.

Just maintaining what we have and not losing more of it is an upward struggle, ongoing, getting more and more difficult as our cities expand and burst at the seams.

One prime example being both Mumbai and Pune expanding, toward each other, compressing the forest cover on the ghats to a point where soon (under 10 years probably) Mumbai and Pune combined will be India's largest industrial/commerce metropolitan area (bigger than Delhi-Gurgaon-Noida).

So this is honestly great news and a deserved feather in our cap. Feels good to hear such things sometimes and realize that amidst all the scams and corruption, faceless Indians are actually doing great work.
