Even people who have no problem whatsoever have this feeling sometimes. All is well... Financially, medically, socially, in family.

They may be rich, healthy and have a large circle of family and good friends.

But they have enthusiasm for nothing.

They have that feeling... Seen everything, now what's left..

Nothing interests such people, nothing stimulates them.

So how do you deal with losing interest in (enthusiasm for) life?

P. S.: No need to be alarmed. These are not thoughts of suicide.

Death is the ultimate truth of life. Every celestial object enters the black hole.

Is this worthy of world news?

Do heroin and reflect on the good parts of your life while completely ignoring the bad parts, until you ultimately overdose and die. Nobody will cry for you either so you can feel better about not having to bother yourself with pity or the superficial concerns of others. You can spit on their self righteousness as you enter the abyss of destitution knowing full well that this is the decision you've made for yourself.

Recognise the purpose of life. What you have stated is true even in west where people have all facilities of life and happy but still the suicide rates are astronomical because they have no purpose in life while in the Muslim countries despite so many problems, the suicide rates are low.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ - 51:56
Translation (Sahih International): And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

Purpose of life is to ponder purpose of life.

To some it might be worshiping an imaginary god but for others it is sheer stupidity and waste of time/effort.

Start to mingle with other people and try to have diversity in your company, if you can't move from your current place. But if you have money you should start a journey around the globe. You will learn and enjoy life a lot, you will experience love, happiness, hatred, everything. You will get to meet the purest people of this world who will have no ill-will against you and you will also get to meet the selfish scumbags this world has to offer.

All in all, if I had a huge pile of money, nothing better to do and in this particular situation, I would do this.

And for some it might be warning others of imaginary gods because of their own insecurities. Check and mate.

That's something which religious folks don't get.
You cannot simply scare somebody of hell and/or seduce him about rewards of heaven to a person who doesn't even believe in such things in the first place.

Yet those people that don't believe are always so isolated in their loneliness that they feel the need to pull people towards themselves. And it's ironic to think that the void in a person's heart can be filled by others, when that person cannot even live with themself.

Atheist/Agnostics don't have any 'religious' requirement of preaching.
