How do Arabs perceive Pakistan and Pakistanis

The majority of Pakistanis in Germany are Ahmadis (Around 60-70% of Pakistanis in Germany). We like to keep good relations with the host country. Plus we have a large number of Ethnic German converts who are involved in Media, public relations, charity etc, and don't close ourselves in ghettos.

So I noticed. There seems to be a lot of Pakistani men from your community married to German girls too. I have to admit, you guys are doing a lot of good.

The German public by and large respect the Pakistani community greatly, thanks to the efforts of the Pakistani folks there. I can recall a German exchange visiting our institution, and two German teachers describing how wonderful her three Pakistani students (born and bred there) were.
The community in Norway has also done a great job, oh and the small number in the Netherlands.

Both ways actually, there are also a lot of German guys married to Pakistani Ahmadi women. Integration, mutual respect and compromise, without giving up your religion, is the key to success.

There's a saying about the Germans I've heard from my elders, they either hate you or love you. There is no middle ground.

I’m Syrian Arab so I'll give my opinion based on this basis.

to be honest, Syrians don’t hate, don’t like Pakistanis, they don’t know them, I have never seen a Pakistani in Syria, however, Syrians in general do know some general facts about Pakistan such as:

  • Pakistan in dispute with India.
  • Pakistanis are Muslims.
  • Pakistan has nuclear weapons.
  • Benazir Bhutto was the first woman to be a prime minister and was assassinated in 2007.
  • Pakistani pilots are skilled.
To me, I worked in UAE in a gas plant in 2007, and I had two Pakistani co-workers in the same workshop, they hated each other, every one of them slandered the other in front of me, I did not know what was going on when they begin to speak in Urdu, they were doing anything to show that they work harder, but they were kindhearted and speak a pretty good English.

by the way, there was a Pakistani bakery in my neighborhood, really I’m a big fan of that tasty bread, My hat's off to the Pakistani bread!.

WHO CARES????????????????...........I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE EVEN HAVING THIS CONVERSATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........Pakistan's economy is about to be catapulted to developed nation standards thanks to CPEC, we are producing advanced high tech weapons systems, SLCMs, MIRVs and have thermonuclear weapons:

http://isis-online.org/isis-reports...g-nuclear-weapons-time-for-pakistan-to-rever/

We now have the potential to become a global military power/superpower yet we are worried about what some useless, meaningless and insignificant people think of us??????????? This is more evidence that Pakistanis don't know how to think big and like to be marred in trivial and childish matters. This is also more evidence that SOME Pakistanis love to be willing slaves of certain peoples. I couldn't care less what some obese, glorified camel jockeys think of us. They are completely irrelevant and of no consequence as far as we are concerned.

In fact there are ONLY 2 nations that matter to Pakistan: China and Turkey. ALL other nations mean nothing to us.

No you missed my point. I didn't there are not any living in Europe, but said of those who have lived in Europe then migrated to the UK.

Back to the topic. The term Arab is huge and many nations and people are included within in it. From my own knowledge and experiences I've found Syrians, Jordanians, Yemeni, Palestinians, Saudis, North Africans (Tunisians, Algerians, Moroccans) and Sudanese to be lovely and pleasant.
The ones from Italy and Spain are migrating to the UK in large numbers due to Brexit. Paks in Denmark and as you've stated Norway and even Austria are well established and integrated into society.

issue is lack of leadership and youth employment. If the pathetic government could bring changes then Pak wouldn't be facing a brain drain were qualified professional youngsters are compelled to move to Europe North America Australia and the Middle East to earn a living.

Pre-May 1998, there was similar talk as above as to why Pakistan would NEVER EVER become a nuclear weapons state with or without Chinese assistance. We all know how that dribble ended. Just as then so is now.

Well what they are doing there they certainly are liked, so my hats off to them.

well bro my experience here with these guys isn't great.most of these are too arrogant and rude

Sorry to hear about that. I've been to Saudi, and of course many come over here (UK) and it has been good. The Saudi posters in here are very pro-Pakistan.

Saudi, Kuwaiti and Qatari are supremacists. They treat Pakistanis like sh!t. Speaking from Personal experience.

I was in New York for a meeting when a American treated me and a Kuwaiti rudely as we were the only two brown skinned persons there. The Kuwaiti was so mad and later told me that he had few white American working under him in Kuwait. The Arabs treat people according to the color of their skin. The Black African gets worst treatment than the South Asians. There is no Muslim or Arab unity or respect.

Interesting perspective. Thanks for this.

I have dated Arab girls before (Half Lebanese half Palestinian, best combo imho), not Syrian per say and they're father's tend to be very racist towards South Asians and will only marry their daughters to someone who is either very fair skinned like a White guy or someone who has allot of money and is holding down a top notch career.

But very few people marry nowadays anyway due to all of the commitment and potential legal risks for the guy in particular since women in the West have their husbands by the b@lls. Just bang em and move on to the next one.

I've been to Saudi, and of course many come over here (UK) and it has been good.
from what i have heard london's traffic police has love hate relationship with saudis. they hate their driving but love the fine revenue:D

Arabs have generally have good feelings with Pakistan they want Pakistan to be strong but no one want us to be strong on their expenses. Syrians are generally very good people.
Morocco Tunis Egypt have good feeling for Pakistanies. We can build good relationshio with those we aren't close with self respect if we ask Saudis to help our elite to safe them from Pakistani stablishment qatar to safe then again from save them from panama case and UAE to have our their money safe then then obviously not gonna see poor pakistanies with respect.
Pakistan sud build itself I bet 70% of people living in Arab will come back with their money to invest people have money and potential to invest in small industries.
