What's new

How did Jammu and Kashmir become a part of India? 9 facts on Accession Day

The accession document doesn't mean $hit, the Indian army invaded Hyderabad under the pretence of a majority Hindu population shouldn't go to Pakistan, so it's null.
Kashmir is unfinished partition business, the state should have gone to Pakistan.
Pakistan should have invaded the moment that filth Hari Singh put forward his standstill agreement.

Which they did :D with the rather disasterous consequences of accepting a Ceasefire Line North of Poonch and International Border South of it, thereby accepting J&K as part of India vide Karachi Agreement of 1948.

Again, something emulated by Pakistani Army in Baluchistan ;)

Hindu raja facilitated Hindu Army to occupy a Muslim land.

Au contraire, the reverse argument, that of the land being Hindu, can also be made :)

.
I see, but this is the craftiness of Bharati propaganda, and Pakistan must convey to the Kashmiris that her countering of this propaganda is not meant as an insult to them...or to just solely politicise their humanitarian suffering....but Pakistan is a complete failure at propaganda...cos even the people believe that if it were not for religion there would be no difference between Bharat and Pakistan....
maybe if people valued secular education more, we would have the means and intelligence through which to completely decimate any indian propaganda attempts. pakistan could be the pearl among dirt of south asia if it took the right steps toward human development.

Yes we must learn from it...not necessarily try and re live or recreate it....
yet people advocate for ghazwa e hind which from what i understand is to create a neo-mughal empire in south asia. the mughals were originally also invaders. a unified south asia would be far different from the british colonial era. the only things that would be similar are the borders.

.
It is important to understand ......

Indians , did all the dirty dealings and killings and confiscation under a entity known as Union of India or something weird and conveniently changed that to "India"

THEY CALLED THIS FITNA
Dominion of India
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_of_India

Technically their Military was busy SNATCHING land and calling it a Dominion (Ownership of India) violating the Agreement for partitioning

INDIAN MILIATRY WAS ACTIVE IN EXPANDING BORDERS until Pakistan realized what was happening and launched a counter offensive in Kashmir

KASHMIR, was 99% Muslim area and it made no sense to connect it to India
India used the same logic when it Took over Hyderabad by Force from Muslim King

The DUALITY of Indians need to exposed how they are ok with taking of Hyderabad by Force by local population but Oppose Kashmiri people's desire for Freedom

We need to connect wars in Hyderabad , Goa and Kashmir and Denial of Sikh people their right as one issue

No they didn't, but then you have a habit of blaming considering indigenous revolts on 'foreign' powers
The army came after.

Kashmir = Majority Muslim, so is Baluchistan, you missed this part out.:-)

Oh, there are plenty of threads where we have had this discussion. Merely denying does not change the facts.

You missed out on what I did refer to, by a very wide margin indeed. The standstill reference of yours? You really need to revert to integration of Baluchistan into Pakistan as the cases are quite similar, merely that in both cases it was you and your proxies who broke the said agreement, and while in Baluchistan you achieved your objectives, in Kashmir, things did not turn out so tidily :)

On a side note, did you attend the Centennial Celebrations of RAF on 10th July?

70 Years Later

  • KASHMIR is burning because India refuses to let it be
  • Sikh already want out since 1940's
  • Maoist Insurgency on South East
  • North East is burning

Have you heard of the phrase "Might is Right"

All your crying will not change the border. If you want fight for Kashmir and take it.

For the first 60-65 years you were an ally of US. Now you are an ally of China. If you don't have the capability to militarily take over Kashmir you can ask your allies for help.

Other option is we are ready to give one way ticket to any Kashmiri who wants to become Pakistani but the land stays

So Ghazwa e Hind some say has happened and others say is incomplete...but either way to base foreign policy on the basis of a single Hadith is not sensible.
True the Mughals were invaders as were most empires in the Subcontinent of India. But the non Muslims of the (Subcontinent) India would not like that and the many Muslims would not like to be a minority in a unified (Subcontinent) India. That is the issue. It would be nice...but the realities on the ground make it non sensible.....

About people valuing secular education....even the secularists are still thinking in terms of a (post)colonial narrative....they think we were one as well...

Yes there have been and it's been proven without doubt that the rebellion was from native folks, my forefathers all fought in it. Yes the army came in later, you should have read the entire thread.

Dude the standstill reference was shot to hell once both states interfered with the ones mentioned in this thread. If you bring up Baluchistan then the three states which India took hold of, despite having standstill agreements in place should also be put under the microscope.
As for what happened in Kashmir you're just repeating what myself and others have already said here.

On a side note, did you attend the Centennial Celebrations of RAF on 10th July?

I didn't go as I live in the UK. I would have though.

. . . .
Yes that is true.
Imagine that a Brahmin was the one who came up with the idea of a independent nation for Muslims.

Brahmins have always been the first to adopt Buddhism, Christianity and Islam in the subcontinent.

I like the Khalistan map we get new neighbour
