For all those people who think Iran tech is Inferior - why hasn't Israel attacked Iran then ?

Geographic distance.

On topic:
Iran's effort for self-sufficiency is commendable. But then, their indigenous equipment are pretty old compared to their Western counterparts. Those mini subs seem really laughable.

Considering China's military industry and its influence, I think Pakistan is better off sticking to working with China. And if possible with Western countries, then go for it.

they serve their purpose
plus those aren't the only subs that Iran makes

"Qaaem, Qaem or Ghaaem is an Iranian designed class of semi-heavy submarines. The first ship of this class, Qaaem, is currently under construction. On 25 August 2008, Iranian defence minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar announced Iran had started building their first semi-heavy submarine: Qaaem. The submarine would be capable of carrying and firing various types of torpedoes and undersea missiles.[1][2] According to the Iranian Navy these Submarines will weigh over 1,000 tons. [3] Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, said that they would be equipped with torpedoes and naval mines. He also said: "the smart long-range Qaa'em submarine is also capable of carrying out both defensive and offensive operations".[4]"

btw, you guys are talking as if Iran has been in the game for the past century. We started all this a decade or so ago.

Though it's small, still the sonar signature will be high...i don't think Iran has sophisticated diesel electric motors and effective measures to damp the engine vibrations.

They are deadly, and very soon they will have aip fuel cells ! it is no joke, these subs can sit on the bottom, means extremely difficult to detect.
these are 150 tons subs made specifically for the shallow waters of the Persian gulf.

and what will israel gain from attacking a country with second largest jews community..
israel airforce can attack iran , its a was walk in park for them..
but question is what they gain fro it?

There are about 20 000 Jews in Iran, it is a very small community.

Honestly speaking the F-22Ps are far advance and competitive against any Iranian Naval Equipment and we might going to see some modernization plan/Block-II of the F-22Ps if we are not going for type-54s. I have heard that the PN love the F-22Ps and wanted make it more potent like other western ones.:pakistan::cheers::china:

Iran is under sanctions, this means for every bank transaction you need permission from US.

The other way is to hand carry foreign cash.
