Interesting. I wonder who you were. We did have a number of non-Iranian members who only came to the forum to troll.

Are you guys still on this? Sheesh.

Is Iran forum no longer active? I see lot's of Iranians on pdf lately.

My username is the same as it was there. I didnt last long because of the hatred i and farhan9099 recieved there.

Then I don't remember your username, (to be honest, it rings a very faint bell but I cannot associate it with any posts) but that farhan guy was a real asshole. There was a good reason why we all hated him.

Unfortunately true. Instead I have to deal with Israeli and Saudi trolls here, as well as some nationalistic Pakistanis.

To be honest i don't know what happened before i joined but while i was there @farhan_9909 was only responding to being called a deobandi and a wahabi slave. I got called that too even though i never got involved in an sectarian conversation. There was a guy from Nigeria and a guy from Brunei that were the most vocal about anti-Pakistan rhetoric. I also remember @Kuwati_girl there that got a negative rating for every single post.

You have to understand that nearly 40% of the Muslim world are unable to read or write, this is based on reports from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and it was reported in 2015.

People like that are easy to brainwash, convince and sway. And there is both a theological as well as cultural war against Iran these days. Propaganda, fake news and etc. People don't really understand what's going on unless they look into it themselves and the majority of people don't. Sectarianism, is something a lot of people bring up. But I've yet to see any influential or big people within Iran say anything Sectarian. However, there are many edicts and sayings from the other side where they say Shiites are this and that and need to be killed, solely because they are Shiite, or "Iranis". Keep in mind, that I'm not a Shiite myself. But I am Iranian.

I had an interesting conversation with a Turkish friend of mine, who's father is an Imam at a Mosque in one of the suburbs here, they are Hanafi. And they told me about the propaganda going on. And basically that Salafism/"Takfirism" is being spread like a wildfire in some of the Muslim communities, because there are certain countries promoting this around the world. And it's not a surprise that there are terrorist attacks and controversial things happening in the name of Islam.

These are the people that make the Muslim world look bad as well as causes strife and hate amongst the Muslims. These are the people that the west look at when they talk about Islamic terror and etc. But they don't know that there is just this group that is this way and instead generalise.

Anyway,
10-20 years ago, the hate against Iran wasn't like this. But thanks to theological propaganda and conventional propaganda, it is what it is. For example, Some people are so ignorant that they think there are no Sunni mosques in Iran and that the Sunnis are being executed for being Sunni and etc. And this is just some of the propaganda and bullshit being told about Iran.

I agree with you. I also read somewhere that in Iran Sunni mosques are not allowed, I always do my research before i make my mind and i found that the basis of that was the decision to decline of the construction of a Sunni mosque in a suburb of Tehran. The reason given was that there was already a mosque in that suburb and the authorities asked to just use that mosque, as the number of Sunnis there didn't warrant having another Mosque.

Also most Pakistanis, just like majority of Turks are Hanafi. But there is a raise of wahabism in Pakistan. The reason for this is that most Pakistanis are illiterate and even the educated muslims don't bother studying the religion properly and this makes them vulnerable to influence of sweet talking bearded person claiming to be a scholar of Islam.

There are some hadiths about kharijis and what the prophet had said about them. he also called them the dogs of hell. I believe wahabis are the people that the prophet had warned us about.

Contrary to this forum and its nationalistic occupants I think Pakistan is the only country which has an overall positive view of Iran, as per some polls. Its really sad that the western propaganda is working.

I have stated it again and again and I will state it again that Pakistanis have a very positive outlook on Iran myself included. The reasons are anti Americanism and ummahism and believe it or not many in pakistan feel that Iran has been wronged and is a victim of conspiracies.

The thinking is, " both Iran and pakistan and power potential Muslim states are victims of westetn conspiracies to make sure they can't reach their full potential which will see them as an extreme power"

I am neither lying nor exaggerating nor do I fell any compulsion towards it. I simply like to highlight the differences between forums and real life. The common man really doesn't care.

Nevertheless Iranians are also hostile against Pakistanis in this forum. :p :p Its a two way street.

The chart you posted is a result of a multi million Dollar propaganda campaign against Iran. I myself used to dismiss such talk as conspiracy wacky talk. But then I started using a News aggregate site called Newsnow co.uk (I had to put spaces because I can't post URLs) it scours the net for any news article and blogs with "Iran" as a keyword. I slowly started seeing a trend in the news articles popping up on that site...every time there was a vote or decision regarding Iran, the articles and blogs would lite up. Surprisingly a majority of the articles had very similar verbiage as if some one or some organization was providing them talking points. That's when I knew the power of the "Lobby" at work was not so much in D.C. as it was in the media. I wrote Mr. Zarif an email imploring him to hire a Madison Ave PR firm to help fight this lobby's onslaught here in the U.S. So the truth is we're held in negative light because the Zionist own all of the major news orgs and there is undercover war against us. I know....I know, this sounds wacky but man is it ever true. It's amazing during JCOPA on every news panel there was an advocate for Israel, either an Israeli attache or an American Congress person, Military analyst..etc..etc. Never did I see an Iranian or an Iran advocate get equal time on the news to present an alternative view. THIS IS MORE POWERFUL than any weapon discussed on this entire forum.

asshole???

I used to be on the Iranian Military forum, and i witnessed the same thing that you mention witnessing on this forum, people filled with self obsessed ego, drum rolling war against all of Iran's neighbours, and thinking that Iran is a mighty powerhouse and invincible. Their hatred towards Pakistan made me start hating Iranians too. But then i meet the people in real life and my perception and hatred dwindled away, i found them to be really nice, friendly and polite people. I learned so much more about Iran, good things like the culture, the food, people's hospitality, natural beauty of the country and i also learnt the bad things like the poverty, obsession with plastic surgery and a few other minor things.

Made me realize how important people to people contact is, its the only way to improve relations. Unfortunately there are elements in every country with their own agenda that try to limit these so that they can manipulate the general public and to build perception to their liking.
Usually when u meet people face to face they tend to be nicer, when u meet then on the internet they churn out their true faces, they spew the hate n contempt they hide inside themselves, something which normal people are afraid to do face to face because that leads to confrontation, on topic of iran bieng a powerhouse n hatred for pak??, lol we can take that country in 2-3 months tops if we wanted to n thats not chest thumping, any one who has knowledge of the capabilities of both nations will agree with me, heck we can just press some buttons n iran will be history but we dont want that now do we?, the only thing that saves iran is being the concubine of the russian bear, they make excuses when they say they only hate the alsaud family(which i myself hate to the core), generally iranians hate all arabs...

Anonimity on an online forum, does cause people's inner hatred / silly notions, to come pouring out, without any regard as to how it would reflect on them or their country

asshole???
Seems, our eastern and western borders, have an ample supply of them.
