Honouring Bhindranwale and other martyrs.

My brothers wife is from indian Punjab, her and her family are educated and well-to-do, and they regard Bhindranwale and the others as martyrs of the Sikh faith, in fact she tells me the majority of Sikhs feel this way.

Rafi, your brothers wife is from which area of indian Punjab??? I belong to Malerkotla and my city has 70% musilim population.

Well my sister-in-law and her family think that Bindranwale was a martyr and she told me the majority of Sikhs call him a martyr = that is straight from the Sikh community.

Would not want to say on an open forum, she still has family their, and others had to escape because of the violent action against the Sikhs after Mrs Gandhi was assassinated.

Please dont post anecdotal evidence and dont lower the standard of the discussions in the forum. Your statement is as believable if I said I have a Pakistani Muslim sister-in-law who thinks blah blah blah.

She says he was misunderstood, he was not anti-state, he just wanted to protect the rights and interests of the Punjabi people, but that the Congressi "snakes" (her words) - wanted to kill him, and he excepted like the glorious Sikh leaders of the past to be martyred in the holiest of holy in the Golden Temple.

Loool I posted a photo of me and my Pakistani ex and my facebook link last year for people to verify but then I got banned for 6 weeks. And you can ask that last hope guy about it. :) Cuz it's true story bro O:)

Are u the same dark short and scrawny gujrati kid in his teen crisis?

Please do the same for people of Balochistan and Sindh..we will be right behind u...

Oh jeez...how much are we guys similar...plz send same bullcrap which u mentioned from my side to Balochistan, Sindh and ABCD place in Pakistan as well :enjoy:

Offtopics not allowed.

AFYI majority of Balochistan wants Pakistan(almost 98%) so for 2% dumbs inspired by RAW terrorists means nothing to us. Keep crying Balochistan is not going anywhere atleast till this world is present.

As for Sindh, i'm from Sindh so i will tell any indian to kucf off cuz our Sindh is Pakistan & will remain forever, there is no issue in Sindh.
P.S if you want me to post something in Sindhi to prove that i'm from Sindh i can do it, though i'm not fluent in speaking it as mostly i speak Urdu & English but still i can speak some 60% tooti phooti whereas i can understand it 99%.

You counted it yourself..huh ?

As for my post or the other post...kindly see the original post those were replied to.

Injustices were done in Operation Blue star, no doubt and if monument is planned as respect for people who lost lives in that operation then what's the big deal??

But, in any case, this is more of a political move by some then a religious one.. But as I said, I would not mind the move because I believe people were unnecessarily killed there..

As long as the majority of Sikhs who visit the holy site are happy with it, it's fine. Bhindranwale is seen as a freedom fighter by many Sikhs.

Im sure ur not the only sikh on earth and many disagree with you.

Then how come u be sure that those 2-3 represent all the Sikhs of India..lol. Its all about what one wants to hear. U wanted to believe their version so there is no reason u will agree with my view. What to me...I know what majority of Sikhs living in India feel about India. They are present in every part of system be it armed forces, govt services or govt itself and carry as much pride as any other of being born in a nation like this. We don't need to prove our love for our country to any ABCD individual/country
