Hong Kong has announced plans to build an artificial island that would provide up to 400,000 homes to help tackle the city's housing shortage. Since Hong Kong returned to Chinese rule over 20 years ago, more than 1.5 million people from the mainland have moved there. But a big drop over the last year has left many wondering if Hong Kong has lost its appeal. Patrick Fok crossed-over to the neighbouring Chinese city of Shenzhen to find out.

People will find they can find great peace in China , there are many internal areas of China where they can live lives much cheaper and easily
hong kong people are more about that bling life i believe... most of who are leaving hong kong are the poor wo can't afford to live there anymore.

Their housing prices are insane. What's the average price now?

I would also GTFO of Hong Kong if I were there. Pretentious fcukers, Hanjian traitors and hipster bullshit have taken root.

The problem with the Communist party is that they are too soft on Hong Kong.

One hairy guy once said "spare the rod and spoil the child". Right now Hong Kong is in need of a gorilla style smackdown to discipline them.
