and i am always confused why they say HOCKEY TEST MATCH....... they don't play 5 day test match like cricket what is the difference between Hockey match and Hockey Test Match

There is no Hockey Test Match like Cricket Test Match.

A series of multiple hockey matches between two nations is called Hockey Test Series.

Hockey Test series is just like Cricket ODI or Test series. Multiple matches played. Whoever wins more wins the series.

Hockey Test Series are usually 5 matches.
