Hockey: India not to play series until Pakistani players apologise

If its about being shirtless:

If its about the hand gesture:

Sure it was not the most memorable celebrations but there's one guy getting rude whereas I see another thumbs-upping the crowd and another raising their hockey to them in the same picture. Maybe the hockey board needs to get their heads out of their darker quarters.

And he was fined for it!

Australia v India, 2nd Test, Sydney, 3rd day: Virat Kohli fined over gesture to crowd | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

Apologize and we will let you play. As it is since your team failed to qualify for the Olympics, no one would be keen in playing against you right now.
did his opponents go "hum nai khayl tay ban kero usko"....by any chance?

or a pair of glasses coz they seemed to have used some microscopes to see 1 out of the remaining players and decided their cries

I say forget india as our sport rival now. Since they don't have the courage to face us in any of the sports anymore and keep coming up with excuses not to play. Its about time we found ourselves a worthy and brave sport rival.

You cannot expect crowd to show sportsmanship. What would have happened if physical harm happened to your player. Sometime thinking with brain than with balls is more fruitful.

I'm pretty sure that if there are matches between India-Pakistan, there should probably be enough security to handle the crowds and keep the peace between the fans.

Talk about ghatiya soch of hindus.. Afridi and tanveer were right after all.

Choti soch waley Hindus. Can't accept that they along with their hostile and pathetic crowd got owned by Pakistanis.

Uncivilized behavior by Pakistani players during Champions Trophy last year

No doubt shameful.
They and PHF should apologise for their behaviour.
Crowd behaviour is no excuse.
I am ashamed as is any Pakistani.

Our sports policy is terrible if not non existent

The only two sports that there was any time or money spent was cricket and hockey and even that was very poorly run and organised

Yet we still have a much better record thst a 7 times bigger state with money to burn

India not to play series until Pakistani players apologise
Posted: September 14, 2015 - 1553 PKT

NEW DELHI: India has demanded an apology from Pakistani players over their celebration during the 2014 Champions trophy.

Hockey India (HI) President Narinder Batra said there could be no series against Pakistan until an apology was given.

During their Champions Trophy semi-final match against India in 2014, Pakistani players took off their jerseys in celebration. Two Pakistani players had been banned for one match by the International Hockey Federation for objectionable gestures during the celebration.

They are asking for apology not for behavior but for the humiliated defeat.

LOL

Our various sports management was always run by corrupt politicians. Its only recently that various Leagues have been setup and we are seeing a huge improvement in our performance in international arena.

As for your record, look at the same list again and see the position of India vs Pakistan.

What happened to Pakistani theory of 1 Pakistani=10 Bharati???

You conveniently forgot to mention that crowd hurled filthy abuses through out the match at players. Team manager tendered apology nevertheless next day. Taking off shirt is normal way of celebrations in world sports. World hockey categorically said that players reacted to utterly uncivilized behavior of the crowd which had no clue as to what sports are all about. World hockey federation nevertheless banned two players for a match. Instead of posting a picture, post the video and see how Pakistani players initially started with celebration hoping to get some appreciation from crowd for the excellent game they just played. Instead the narrow minded people hurled abuses hence two players reacted.

Before you go on uncivilized norm of removing shirts just like your hockey president said "we Indians are very dignity minded society. Removing shirt is unthinkable in Indian society", please have a look at the pictures of father of Indian nation 'Mr. Gandhi'!

Grow up, get mature, stop mixing politics and sports, learn to lose with dignity!
did you forget..India bought the ticket for Pakistan for that tournament...and this what we got from Pakistan
