I AM an administrator on the forum www.defence.pk/forums. It is the largest online community discussing political matters about Pakistan. As you know, the government of India has gone on a rampage to ban various websites, which it claims were spreading false rumours. It has‘leaked’ a list of these websites online and ours is on it.

This has motivated cyber attacks from India’s cyber criminals against websites on that list. We have been facing distributed denial of service attacks (DDoS) since this list was leaked and these attacks are quite large. We, being of limited resources, are struggling just to keep ourselves alive and running.

To put things in perspective, the DDoS is at a rate most DDoS mitigation services don’t even offer a package that big to prevent it.

We are spending at a rate of close to$20,000 a year just to survive. About the government of India’s claim, we as an organisation support freedom of speech. Our users are free to criticise or support any cause whether that is for or against India or for or against Pakistan, for that matter.

The validity of these claims cannot always be editorialised but people are free to counteract such claims. I would hope to get the Indian government to reconsider and realise we are not doing anything shady but upholding noble ideals by allowing free debate.

Again, You are fail as Think Tank. BRF is a club for self propagating thoughts and without any counter argument that is invalid for most of us Indians. PDF is a business which allows all communities and it is loved by all nationalities due to its fairness and being unbiased. This is achieved by its moderators and admins with some set of rules. The point is that if those moderators are breaking the rules then who is supposed to take care? Webmaster or Senior Moderators. I am just pointing it.

I am not crying baby but standing with the point and I have same right on this website as yours, irrespective of your "Pseudo" status so if you can ask me leave then I can ask for you to remain silent.

At the last, "Put" your "Think" hat again and don't quote BRF, IDF or any other website. You are just comparing Apple with the Oranges. "YOU" are not "PDF" owner so "YOU" don't have right to allow or block and that right goes in hand of Webmaster or his designated person.

A simple reading the Terms would have done you a world of good. BRF is an exclusive club compared to the 'open doors to all nuts' policy here. You can't even register in BRF with a free email account - you need an id of an institution. There is a huge difference - given the number of journals published, seminars conducted, people engaged in it etc.

And Indians - stop this crying. This is normal. Stop crying and stop defending. Enjoy this.

Why then so many Indian Ads and Threads ?

For traffic. This IS NOT not a military forum. Videos like these attract visitors. More the visitors, more the chances of ads being clicked = more revenue. Which is precisely the reason why Indians and even trolls will never be banned on the whole. @syedali73 sorry about that.
