it was destroyed by PA's baktar-shikan(HJ-8,chinese anti-tank weapon) fired by the gunship AH-1F cobra....during early on stages of operation rah-e-rast in buner

What do you mean. We destroyed our own tank.????? As far i know and discussed before that it was hit by more than 15 suiciders on bike and after the battle the crew was safe and sound.

why would PA destroy its own Al zarrar MBT .

I dont get the logic , was it being used by militants against the army???

sorry i forgot to mentioned my mistake
@it was destroyed by PA's own gunship because it was captured by taliban fighters in "sutan wass pass"(buner,malakand agency)
so in the presence of this such big threat for army's infantry present there
the army regional command decided the best to destroyed her own tank.....after realizing it as a big threat for the army jawans present there​

well why dont i explain the above theory properly ..it was ist immobilized by a IED
after evacuation of crew it was decided to be neutralized .

Do you guys see any hull penetration suggesting it was hit by a RPG or ATGM ?? I don't.

This area saw very extensive fire fight after which PA moved back and brought the tank to flush out the militants hiding on both sides of the road. PA guys faced 6 suicide attacks at this same spot. This tank was immobilized by an IED type device and i remember well the Lt Colonel giving TV interview showing this area and the tank and said that it was hit by something which we are unable to identify for the time being, but i do remember him saying that the tank even fought on after it was immobilized by IED before it was hit with something from the militants.

Look at the extent of the burning all around the tank, it seems was burnt on purpose while it was abandoned or something was used which made it lit up.

There is no external penetration to be seen from any side though.

And also these are two separate tanks, one has people crossing behind it with open area behind it, while the other has buildings right behind it,meaning both are different tanks destroyed at different locations destroyed through most probably different ways.

so it means that we have lost more than one tank in this fierce battle
even i remember that we lost more than two T-59II in bajaur operation
