Pak is also a large source of doctors and other professionals for GCC,not just heavy vehicle operators... not counting Pak serving in GCC military and LEA.

Those Indians are in the GCC as long as they are useful. The second they will no longer be useful they will be deported back. They are temporary guests based most strongly (percentage wise) in the smaller GCC states which have small native populations. Not nationals entitled to anything. The Indians here should not get ahead of themselves.

It's shameful that ratio of hindus in GCC is higher then muslims from islamic countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc This should change, remitances can help poor muslim countries get on their feet. Especially now that India love for hindu RSS/Modi.

OMAN, UAE, BAHRAIN, KUWAIT you name it, they are there, found in offices as managers, HRs, Engineers, Doctors & Nurses. If people think they are there because of the workforce quality, then they only know the half truth. The full truth is, they oppressed the other minorities India systematically & positioned themselves to the most benefits out of any opportunity for Jobs, Businesses etc.

If you think it will be unwise to hold them based on religious identity then go & check how many Muslim they allow to take the position in Govt sectors by percentage vs Population.

TBH I've worked with indians before and they don't really bother anyone. They're very passive and do their utmost to keep out of trouble. They're usually the hardest of workers but not the best. They're completely different to Pakistanis in EVERY way even though our nations share a border.

However they are the least payed.

I've come up with a hierarchy of the people here from best treated to worst treated:

Privileged:

1. Qataris
2. Non Qatari GCC Arabs
3. White people/Any expat with enough $$$

Regular:

4. Other Arabs
5. Any other ethnicity I don't mention throughout this list
6. Pakistanis/North Hindustanis/Other similar looking ethnicities and nationalities

Poorly treated:

7. Afghans
8. Black people
9. Anyone who looks East Asian
10. South Hindustanis/Sri Lankans/Other similar looking ethnicities and nationalities

I don't know how it is during Ramzan and Eid, I was home during that time in my two year stay. I think majority don't. They prefer to live in their own circles.
