Being a south Indian (Tamil Nadu), I can't speak Hindi/Urdu. But I learned the language from Hindi TV Channels and Bollywood. My north Indian friends say I talk more Urdu than Hindi.

Why?

Is Indian Hindi cinema dialogues and lyrics are influenced by Urdu? Are north Indians TV channels use more Urdu than Hindi?

I couldn't see the difference between a Pakistani movie and Hindi movie.

Urdu is the language of Poet. Most bollywood movies use Urdu especailly the song but bollywood call it Hindi.

Hindi is not articulate language like Urdu.
