Russian plattforms will be far better suited for the job of landing / takeoff from motorways because they are designed for this purpose and have alternate inlets over the wings to prevent foreign object engine damage.

Sigh...... I am sure you will understand for taking much time being busy.... at once I was at ease then sudden alarm and information and what not so rushed towards..... Then came to know that No.... Has to review and believe what I know... so peace finally and rest about brigade etc, both the parties are well aware of movement and if not shared to public means it is in the interest for them so why create hype....

However, if there was such that much of anything, indeed many of us wouldn't be here however, temperature is up and threats felt so possibility cannot be ruled out, not the professional and responsible stance at all, SOP.

I am sue and hope things may not escalate but as I said before, it is also to be viewed through political aspect for NaMO and availing the opportunity by NS is possible as well after all opposition parties are giving a tough time while seeking justice for leaks and incompetencies.

NaMO does much ado for the sake of that partly mandate based upon anti-Pak agenda though on other hand pretty much availed by NS to minimize the political pressure by opposition so in the end, works for both Sari, mango and birthday wishes exchanging friends. However, people grilled, most of Pakistan invaded, Nukes prepared and what not on media, social sites and even at PDF forces crossed the border, 20 or more killed in AK, bodies burnt to ashes due to MKI's and artillery fire so nothing recovered but ironically if someone is not aware is the one from each military yet world knows everything.

A planned exercise way before more than a week to be conducted by PAF that followed suddenly an incident and threats after that, still many of us connected it to the counter threat sorties or reply for cross border incursion.

Exercises are planned around real war scenario and are conducted in the same manner except firing of live ammunition over civilian areas though due to threat and any possibility, Hall Mark 2016 became more important in different purposes and tactics but not because of that Border Crossed and 20 kills etc.

This is battle of Chawinda, famous tank battle. I have sympathy with the people you mentioned, may they always see peace

thanks Viper. no one deserves uncalled for attacks that are unprovoked .these rules are guidelines and good members of the forum are encouraged to follow them. the moderators are Not American city COPS that shoot people on site if they feel threatened. it does take place but maybe not to your expected level.

I know the story of Chawinda, very well, my father told that us every week, and fthat was the reason why I startet to google Pakistan Army in 2005, and later joined all PDFs ! I did not wanted make fun of any member, Brother or sisters, it just sounds funny when I did read: "they thought americans or indians have invaded "

BINGO!! and thank you for keeping it real. In the span of past 48 hours, I've probably come across about 12 pretty arrogant wana be COAS's of both India and Pakistan. Its fun. I don't take it personally but the negative rating bull shiit, I won't tolerate. They abuse the members and deny free speech, the site is in violation of its own code of conduct so it should be shut down. Rules are for everyone, some favorite one's aren't above the law.

Also, people don't realize, the US forces have people who speak perfect Hindi/Urdu so I know plenty of "Red Blooded Americans" as some genius calls them, who can speak Urdu, Pashtu, Hindi, etc, etc.

I would have ignored the posts, as you suggested if these were normal times but i wont let people be fooled by absolutely baseless rumors and reports.

Sure, name him, and events till yesterday. I'll confirm his badge in less than 5 minutes and will let you know. Windjammer posted pictures of Gun / ATGM missile sites locking on an Indian check post. So just like he posts stuff and you believe it, there are others very connected also. You should allow them to share stuff as it happens.

The BATS action is pretty common on the LOC and never becomes a war. That's pretty much where the focus has been. Windjammer and other would know there have been plenty of times where the Indian jets come towards the border and sharply turn away playing "locks". This could mean, testing the PAF's readiness, ADA scramble times, capturing signals and frequencies of radars when the SAMS start to track and lock on the incoming, etc, etc (main features of ELINT /SIGINT).

Just because something hasn't started the war, doesn't mean credible people on here are lying. It is very insulting actually. I have pictures from 2 days ago, of artillery firing but I am told not to post them. While I write this, the entire day today, since yesterday, was pretty peaceful at the LOC and hostile maneuvers were not undertaken by either party.

So, the point is, when bad news comes in and its verified, I post it. When there is nothing going on, like the above sentence, I post it also.

What you and others have to realize, is to respect a second opinion. Having a set of rules for certain special individuals and putting crap and negative ratings on members you don't like, puts this entire site at risk of being out of compliance and shutting down and it won't take much. Learn to respect different others opinions and learn to agree to disagree. Tolerance is needed, in Pakistan and on this forum. This judgemental shiit hasn't done anything for Pakistan and its not good for even a simple experience like posting stuff on a free internet site!!
