Yea, I figured the cultural similarities and the similarities in the words too when I used to rent a room in an Iranian family's home...and tutored another Iranian student...Was an interesting experience...Once we had a barbecue, and it was like 1 PhD student Arab lady and her family (I cant remember if she was from Iraq or something), 1 Iranian PhD student also man of the house and his family and 2 Pakistanis (me and my sis) was really interesting to see the similarities though at times there was confusion as both Arabs and Iranians got mixed up in Religious debates....maybe coz they were friends so it didnt sound too bad....
