That's how the US is sterilising their eggs. They wash off the chicken feces with that stuff thus destroying the natural protection of the egg shell against germs. Eggs in the EU are not sterilised at all, that's why we can store the eggs without refrigeration for weeks. In the US you can only store eggs in the fridge, even in the supermarket. The Huffington makes it sound like all "western" countries are sterilising eggs which is incorrect.

If you buy eggs from a chicken shop in India you can easily make out it’s straight from the farm as you can see all sorts of dirt and colours on it.

The one that come packed might be as dirty as the above ones but who knows?

Brown eggs from Venkys is one that I buy. Anyone else has some views?

Bro I am a theist so I don't know much about Religions just history but I do appreciate your input.

Then most people eat egg bro not just Muslims just for your information. Only vegetarians in India dont. Some vegetarians call themselves eggatarians as they only eat egg and not non veg.

What really matters is if it's healthy or not, Personally I stay away from the yolk part of an egg.

Lol. I am not a Hindu. And I never said that no sikh can eat non vegetarian. Infact Punjab have one of the highest meat consumption in India. But what I am telling is a fact. These are my own personal observation. In my district, every Sikh family have at least one person who have taken part in Amrit Sanchar. And that person can neither consume non vegetarian nor alcohol. It is also compulsory for him to keep the 5Ks (Articles of faith). Now, its upon you if you agree with me or not. But it is the truth. You are a well known troll so I won't be replying to you further on this matter.

Chlorine is itself unsafe to use in food industry as per the FDA.
