Helicopters Fire on Rohingya Refugees

In 1971 indian created the issue indian had to take responsibility for it. Plain and simple. Today Bangladesh is not the one running ethnic cleansing and should not be responsible. Although Bangladesh should accept these people on humanitarian ground for short term. Why is indian silent on Myanmar now? Where is indian backyard and democarcy and rest of propaganda parrot line? Indians are commtting crime by encouraging Myanmar regime in such blatant ethnic cleansing.

WTF..India created issues in 1971???read your country's history before opening mouth here..and why should india intervene any country's internal affairs???did you see China/whole world is protesting??if BD has problem...they should protest..and do you have any claim(video or authentic links) that said Burma is ethnic cleansing???enough of Bu11sh!t..now STFU..

@topic

its not clear the gunship is belong to which country..right???BD/Mayanmar..whoever is behind this act...it is a clear violation of human rights..they can detain them for illegally crossing boundary.but firing using gunship is unacceptable..

Tragic if true but I just don't believe it. Neither side has a reason for doing that. Plus, AFAIK, all our attack gunships are deployed on the other side of the country. I want some independent media confirmation before I believe it.

Arming the Rohingya may not be a good solution, because there is only 800,000 left and that number may not be enough to support an insurgency. Also Islamic insurgency will raise the specter of "Islamic terror".

I recommend for Bangladesh to find ways to support the other insurgencies in Burma - Kachin, Shan, Mon and Karen. Thailand and USA may already be helping them, but everything has to be covert, with plausible deniability and absolutely no evidence of any connection to Bangladesh. Laos also has border, they might be helpful also, together with Vietnam, although I have no idea how they feel about Bamar's and if they may take the risk of getting involved. USA/West may help as many of these rebel groups are Christians and its a human rights issue.

Both China and India have adopted the vicious imperial Bamar Junta (Bamar's are 20-25 million) who have built up a big army with Chinese and Indian support in the last few decades. Their goal is to wipe out or assimilate all minorities. In case of Rohingya, the Bamar do not want to assimilate but purge all of them, using Buddhist Rakhines, who share their hatred of Rohingya's. Essentially they are our Asian version of Hitler and Nazi, right in our neighborhood. This shows the depravity of China and India, both countries have sold out these minorities who are fighting for their lives, for the sake of economic and strategic self interest. Only USA/West did not give in, because of Suu Kyi's instruction. But Suu Kyi herself is a Bamar and her political power is based on Bamar support, so her main concern is democracy of Bamar's. Bamar's I think more or less agree with Junta policy, because for them its an issue of ensuring Bamar domination. I don't think Suu Kyi matters that much in the big picture. It is the military junta, their Rakhine armed militia and the rebel insurgents that are the key players in this theater. The Junta is using Suu Kyi's "democratic" reputation and goodwill to open up the country for FDI. Note, Hitler was also elected as democratic leader.

In any case, we need better intelligence assets to get more real information from the fiield.

You really know your stuff .....

The pakistan embassy should give them all visas and let them come to pakistan.

Hey why don't you try illegal immigration in these states.

Yeah, his most knowledgeable post was about Bangladesh invading under a Chinese nuclear shield. That boy really knows his stuff...

Yesterday, he was talking about US Navy's 7th fleet at Chittagong port attacking India.:rofl:

That's because unlike some other countries India does not have the habit of poking her nose into the internal matters of other countries. How many people have died in the conflict so far.50?It's not that a genocide has just happened or something.Furthermore why is the Bangladeshi government so quiet.I haven't heard anything coming out of Bangladesh either.Just Bangladeshi members here jumping up and down.We have reasonably good relations with Myanmar and why should we spoil it by chastising them.Yes we are selfish like any other country.Don't expect us to jump up and down for a group hated by most Burmese.

Looks like even their fellow Muslims don't spare them from exploitation.

And India is doing what it could do

There is no way you guys can understand what India gave you, coz this generation was not present when atrocities were done on them. India condemns the act against thee people but if we directly involve you will be the first person saying India interfering in internal matters of other country, trying to establish its hegemony. Double standards at work.....

Instead of targeting India why aren't you targeting your own government. Why aren't you trying to help the indirectly. UN will take decision and if it wants to send peacekeeping force, India will abide with it.

Why aren't you targeting Pakistan or China.....aren't they supposed to feel about these people. Hypocrisy.

.
If taking the UN route, why not abide by the wishes of the UNHCR and open your borders to these people?

I curse Pakistani govt, they should give Rohingyas nationality of Pakistan & open the doors for them along with stranded Biharis in Bdsh. There are millions of illegals living in Pakistan from all over the world & their countries are peaceful but these guys who are facing attrocities everywhere they have not been allowed.
