I saw most family in a big city with 2x kids, it's not a easy life for parents.

in big cities like Toronto, single homes is close to $1m CAD. Although kids can go to public school but very common for Chinese parents to put their kids in private school until they are in first or second grade.

Well ... if compared 1RMB with $1 CAD... in China big city, more expensive 1x~4x times than ur house pirce in Toronto. So China house pirce in big city still high or very high.

I mean if 1RMB : $ 1 USD ... it's usually 1mil ~ 3mil RMB house price in China big city ... so more bigger city and the house more smaller. In small China city u can live in a big house 120m2~140m2, but in big city u only afford a small house like 50m2~80m2.

The condition of 2 kids family in China is hard, doesn't means other condition is hard too. We could have 1 bedroom for each kid of 3 in Hanoi, Vietnam. And we could bring them to go aboard for tourism annually, FYI.
It's popular to see 2 or 2+ kids in a family all over the world, incl. Vietnam. There's living good condition or not.

Actually you make great sense here, especially in bolded parts. One kid model is not sustainable, I guess, for both parents and for the kid himself/herself.

Parents always want to make sure their daughter or son live in happy in the future,because they love their kids with full heart.
In China,if you are nearly 30 years old,parents will arrange marriages affairs,too.The will put their kid to marriage interview with proper lady or man.If the young people agree,marriage will come soon.

China still has some sort of family control program, although it has now been partially reformed. Before the end of this decade, I expect the policy to become almost defunct. We will have to wait and see; it all depends on nation's per capita welfare and poverty eradication.

We do not want large pockets of poverty in China.

And we do not want large pockets of slums in China.

No, it's a good idea:

If I make $900 a week, then I have to divide by 3 = $300 to look after my 3 kids.

If I have 2 wives, then both of them work for the total income of $1800, divide by 3 = $600.

This means I dont even have to work and just spend time with my girlfriend.

I agree with you. It is really not sustainable in the long term.

Good thing is policies are not inscribed on steel. They can be scrapped. And China has the will and capacity to do that.

But in such a big country, you will have a plethora of opinions for pros and cons.

Normally, it is a basic human instinct to seek family survival through blood linage.

Rent house is OKay, although i had my house now i also rent a house for saving money. We clearly know the life having baby or not, it's a very different life for most family ... it means the extra cost for new family member.

Rent house + feed babies, it's a very hard life for many parents ... it means u have to abandom ur dream to take care ur baby.

A successful person must be stick to the dream and get achievement, ur kids is the only problem and u have to spend time & money to take care them.

U r Right. To me, when we r not rich and born in a big city, we should forget abt trying to have a son after having 2 kids (girls) already. We will not have enough money to raise all of our kids, we will be on serious stress and die soon.
