Sikhs don't wear shalwar. its women dress.. we wear chadra and a Sikh look trillion times better in that than whatever you guys wear..have you seen bhangra dancers..they wear our tradiotional dress..day to day peple wear kurta payjama...Punjabi has many Persian and Arabic words doest mean anyting..English has lot of hindi words does that means English are indians

Read your history properly. Peshawer was not conquered for taxation, it was just a matter of pride for sikhs to hold onto peshawer. Unruly pashtun population didnt pay taxes to sikhs... Writ of sikh rule was only limited to peshawer city, the surrounding areas were hostile no-go-areas where sikhs had to march as an army to prevent themeselves from ambushes and raids. Sikhs imposed religous restrictions on kashmiris but didnt go harsh on pakhtuns regarding religion as they had no control over them...here every man was a soldier.

One must understand what the reason for M Ranjit Singh to take possession of territories west of Indus. Conquering whole of Afghanistan was never the plan nor desirable for the Sikhs because In terms of revenue there is not much to take. But strategically it was very important to have some territory west of the Indus. Ranjit Singh knew that in order to secure the western border of Punjab he needed the NW frontier which was very vulnerable to invasions from the north west. So taking NW frontier province and leaving the Pathans as governors was a wise decision to protect Punjab. A Sikh general only became a direct governor of some region in NW frontier which was more prone to rebellion otherwise very often Ranjit Singh used Barakzais as governors,

Indeed. Sikhs could not have achieved much without the presence of muslim martial castes in their army e.g awans, sial, ghakkars etc. Ranjeet singh was a clever ruler.
Sikhs have not achieved any thing significant after death of ranjeet singh...except for massacre of unarmed women and childern in 1947. The credit for their short-lived success go to leadership of ranjeet singh and training of their army by europeans.

yes it was.. our dresses evolve with time..now a days women wear shalwar kamig and dont start saying it come from afghnistan or turkey blah blah.. original afghan women wear is differtn and we don't wear those gypsy style shalwar which women in turkey use to wear..

Bro, Gujjars are a strong people. Milk is their main source of diet. All that milk makes them tall and strong. Most of the Gujjars I have seen are tough looking people, especially the ones who come from J&K and Rajasthan.

You maybe jatt but at this point your blood is mixed with other dalit sikhs who made 40% of sikh population. And in west punjab alone there are 20 million pure jats, 15 million rajputs, 4 million gujjars, 10 million arain etc. About 5 million are dalits which include mussali, mochis, churas. And gujjars are not like dalits, they will kick your ***. They have very strong physic.

Indian punjab have 10 million jats. There are more dalits in tiny Indian punjab then west punjab which is 3 times bigger in population. 10 million dalits in Indian punjab which makeup 33% of its population. Sikhs were not martial but followers of martial religion, dalit can never be considered martial.

In J&K, Gujjars are considered dirty and uncivilized people. I don't know about rajasthan. I'm from Jammu and when someone looks dirty/unshaven , we tell him he looks like a gujjar. They are tall though.
