What's new

Hajj Stampede, 700+ pilgrims died.

really tragic. Crane falling on grand mosque only a month ago.. & now this! Things are not going great in Saudi at the moment. May Allah show mercy to his followers!

I think that you are taking this too far. One (Makkah crane collapse) was a freak accident that occurred during a storm and heavy rainfall. Only this crane collapsed while the other 100 around Al-Masjid Al-Haram did not and where later inspected and found to be fully safe.

The tragedy today is a stampede caused by pilgrims. No need to look for any grand conspiracy theories. Much stranger things have occurred across the world and will occur in the future.

I know it, I didnt say that I think that a sabotage is likely. I said "don't discard". It's unlikey, but I dont discard.

About weather when crane collapsed... It would be needed enter in conspiracies theories and suppositions.
And this is not the thread for talk about geoengineering, handling energy present in the ions of ionosphere with chain reactions, plasma cloud, electron avalanche, etc...

But only I will add some about that: In 21st January 2012: Very bad weather in Ormuz Strait, a Iranian ship sank in Ormuz Strait that day causing several deads due to bad weather, a USA aircraft carrier navigate across strait a day after. And another day after EU approved economic sanctions against Iran. It was very opportune weather those days in that region.

I know that this unfortunate event is a very sensitive thing and it's not my intention offends to anyone. But I think that it should be investigated deeply, what was the initial cause of stampede...., and think coldly and rationally in every possible (and unlikely) hypothesis.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon. First crane accident and now this. What is happening out there?

Ya Allah grant them jannat ul firdoos.

The tragedy (stampede) occurred on Street 204 at Mina.

According to most of the witness accounts that I have read in the local and international media it seems that it was caused by a group of Hajis who tried to return to their tents from the same side from where they had entered which is forbidden. This apparently caused the stampede.

Stay safe and please update us if you can if we miss anything.

Live from Makkah:

KSA1 (Arabic):

KSA2 (English):

There's rumors that it was a small fire which started it. I wouldn't believe anything that you hear right now.

express news correspondent in SA saying that around 100 Pakistanis are expected to be dead.

Very sad incident. May Allah rest the departed souls in eternal peace. Ameen

Very sad and tragic news

We muslims believe that God ordains life and death and that is true

In this sad moment perhaps we should also think that God may not be as pleased with us as we may think, with so many killings and counter killings going on in the Muslim world perhaps we should mend our ways and pray that God bestows his favours upon us.

So death of 450 pilgrims is nothing for you and when pilgrims and their families complaint, you call it trolling.
Vow, keep it up man.

Sheikhs are greatest creature of man kind. Are you ok now?
ranasikander,
This is for the first and for the last time you are advised to tone down.We are also feeling pain of such horrible incident and trying to figure out the main cause. The ''sheikh'' has nothing to do with it.

Regards

Allah yarhamhoum...
Hejaz must be taken from Saudi Arabia.

Surely you must be joking? That won't happen nor will we Hijazis allow that to happen. Hijaz forms an integral part of KSA and the Arabian Peninsula as a whole. Makkah and Madinah is in the hands of locals like it was for millenniums and de facto always was.

No other country in the world is able to handle the Hajj and Umrah as well as KSA for obvious reasons and this accident was not caused by the authorities and similar stampedes have occurred all across the world, quite a few even more deadly.
