It wasn't about blaming the Chinese. It was a personal opinion that they won't come to a military defence. There is reasoning behind it. Wherever China has moved, she has first put in place overwhelming strength, and a very clear strategic vision. Examples: the Korean War, India-China 1962, Vietnam 1989. And in spite of that, Vietnam was a setback of major proportions. Please consider that they have not attempted an invasion of Taiwan, even while huffing and puffing about it for two-thirds of a century.

Acting against Taiwan is only on certain conditions. And I agree with ur analysis but they have restructured their army. Read on the blue n red army exercises and use of smaller forces.
As to acting it will be more of a deterrent rather then an active defence at the time of war. The Indian navy will avoid a port with both commercial and naval vessels of a third country not just China. The blow back would not justify the benefits.
And with India taking such a proactive role in the SCS the Chinese will not take a back seat anymore.

The number of people working government jobs can not cover the Indian population. The number of poor people has not dipped in anyway to suggest any trickle down effect. The cost of living has increased at a pace where the poor find it harder to survive. Indians still go abroad to find jobs in the Middle east. Skilled people who have returned complaim about the thuggish attitude especially towards doctors.
As far as Aid goes even we have given aid to countries including Afghanistan. But India is still recieves more aid then it gives. The poverty in Indian cities is not decreasing and the inflation especially in property has led to a fractured economy...
The level of crime is still high as well as the corruption. Do not talk to me about the figures released when ur own parliamentarian questions them.

Yes and the Indian achievementd are great on paper also but the economy is still not returning anything downstream. The diplomacy that u claim is great has fractured most neighbours into either being with u are totally against you in the neighbourhood. The Americans see an interest and have temporarily aligned themselves with you but still no real progress is seen.
Real tangible results are not seen in any regard in diplomacy. Your bid for veto power has failed, Nsg is off the table, and the issues inside India still grow.
Being called an ally is great, but when there are tangible results only then will the diplomacy be successful. And with the latest moves by India you have further polarised the area, and it is going to be evident how a hard handed approach has long term effects.

The success of CPEC depends a lot on the development and unleashing the world class economic potential of Western China. Coupled with Chinese military strategic gains in Gwadar/Indian Ocean. Central Asian participation in CPEC although ideal is not really necessary. The only other nation that can boost Pakistan's economy and CPEC is Turkey. Turkish participation could be another game changer for Pakistan. Not through any "routes" or "corridors" but through Turkish TOT, investments, industrial & manufacturing assistance. Although it is already happening, Turkish activity needs to be increased to Chinese levels in Pakistan.

I find it quite funny when the further you move away from Pakistan, the more patriotic you become.
