BD economic growth is like a flowing tap which is under control of india and india knows when to keep check over the flow of tap.

Optimism is good but as the matter currently stands, we r a pathetic Indian vassal. Hasina has turned us into one. The Indian intelligence may very well have perfused and forming deep roots in all state apparatus including the army. After pilkhanna , its doubtful whether we even have a functional army or not. Our border guards have been destroyed while the intelligence apparatus has become an arm of Indian RAW. India run by congress have successfully chained BD through AL over the last 7 years. An Indian appointed dictator is openly crippling BD to the core. These r bitter facts that people need to come to terms with.

But then again in the last 150 years all muslim states (except a few) underwent or is undergoing some form of colonization by foreign powers and BD is no exception. BD is a big country with 160 mn making it almost impossible to keep it as a vassal state for long and in the future BD will insha'Allah free itself from Indo-awami hegemony and then it will be a thorn in India's way for regional hegemony. India knows that and as such a strong BD is something India despises and is taking due measure for any such eventuality. India is a destabilizing factor, a cancer in the region that can not tolerate its neighbors in general and BD and PAK in particular prospering.

Please be kind to your neighbors. These neighbors for thousands of years.

Listen mate, we are very happy to see the progress in Bangladesh BUT please be sure of one thing, the day you start pissing India off and openly become hostile to us, there will be no more BD.

All we need is to just open some dam gates and almost half of BD will be washed off to Bay of Bengal.

When you live in a pond, ita better to befriend the Croc.

I disagree.

American wrenching of Myanmar from Chinese camp has proven to be an absolute boon for India.
Our relations with both BD and Myanmar have skyrocketed when Myanmar got rid of junta since BD and Myanmar both balance each other quite nicely and both want Indian support against the other.

A strong country spreads prosperity in neighbouring countries not insecurity.
Look at Europe and NA.

So economically a prosperous BD means good news for India while strategically we would do well to play BD and Myanmar off each other.

As long as BD military is not directed at us we will get along just fine.
Otherwise be ready for India Myanmar gangbang :D

And that would do what?

Keep blaming others for your shortcomings wont take u nowhere, besides how exactly we keep Pakistan under our influence?
U guys ever imagined that if we take measure like we did in 1971 your country would be in 20 pieces.
Find some logic and get out of denials. First stop your fellow country men from crossing our borders.
And ya welcome to the real world.

though be ordinary people aware of what is happening in be and what India is doing. it is a matter of time when we get rid of Indian slaves.

There is no question for us to beat India. BD will be stronger in economy and have a strong deterrent armed force.
We have to sponsor proxy war in NE. As its truly in bad condition due to Indian bad governance. BD shall help them to get independence.

You guys can't handle a friendly India, how would you handle an unfriendly India? :)

They don't have enough space in their country to keep so many weapons. :P

Bangladesh is too small, insignificant and too much of a puppet of India to be any threat to India, in the short or long term.

. .
How 130 B Bangladeshi economy can be threaten to 2 trillion Indian Economy ?

Even if BD grow with 10% and India does not grow at all

BD will add around 13B per year.....

BD will add another 150B in another 10 yrs and 2 trillion in 100 yrs.
