Green Card Soldiers

Hi Pakistani colleagues,

You didn't complain when the u s was offering green cards to doctors--nurses ---engrs---IT techs etc etc etc---from pakistan india and hundred other countries----so why is it a big deal to fill up another job by offering green cards to people who join armed forces---

To the guy about mass graves about u s soldiers----the u s milltary doesnot make mass graves to bury its soldiers who have died on the battle front---regardless of who they are----green card soldiers or citizens of the state---.

If your belief and understanding of the issue is so shallow---then your words don't mean anything. Could you please have some better understanding of the people and nations that you deal with.

Why to blame Qazi his son never joined army ,better critice preception of our leader nawaz sarif who's son in law left army and joined civil services.

We need to restore and improve image of our armed forces that first prefrence of every youngester will become army service as it was in 60's and earlier.

My uncle left medical college in secong year and joined air force as fighter pilot.

I'm not sure how accurate the statistics are.

They've got a breakdown of ethnic composition of US fatalities somewhere, it didn't look to be too Latino and Black dominated, unless a lot of ghost fatalities exist.

Who cares anyway. You got to be brain-dumb to risk your life to get into the US in exchange for a green card especially when it's about to collapse like a deck of cards. In which case, it's better for evolution that you probably don't reproduce too much.

My Washington Post publishes a picture of each and every US soldier killed in Iraq. There have been thousands of them since 2003. Do you really believe a cover-up of unannounced, dead American soldiers in Iraq has escaped our press?

Then why the controversy?
If it had been so clear and so transparent then why do people are asking question?

Do you really believe that? Do you realize how devastating that would have been for the Bush administration? 10 times worse than abu Graib. There is no way our liberal "Democratic Party" press would have missed that. I have full confidence that they have published every possible derogatory story about Iraq that exists.

Well i don't buy it. Just to malign the Bush administration, you think this story of dead US soldier would have been brought out on the scenes??

Well you know what i think, if this would have come out not only Bush would have been kicked but at the same time American credibility, power, sources, policeman ship etc etc would also have been taken aback, which ofcourse would not have been liked by the "Americans"

You may laugh as much as you want----but your first comments have to do nothing with your second post---it is a known fact that some of u s forces rape and plunder at random and then execute families and rape victims at a given oppurtunity----but they are not in habbit of burying their own soldiers in mass graves be it green card soldiers of citizen soldiers.

Before the war in afghanistan---and first and second gulf war I wrote many atimes and many places for finding a way not to let the u s forces get onto their land---muslims laughed---they wanted to make another vietnam out of american forces---when I wrote about the perverse nature of the average american soldiers---you people wrote---we will die for our cause----yes---leaving your women and girls to be raped by the roaming gangs of marauding g i's.

So your trying to tell me that the iraqis killed a load of US soldiers and buried them in a mass grave and blamed the US?
It would have been a propaganda victory for the iraqi freedom fighters if they had found a mass grave of iraqis.....why would they not take the opportunity to make the US look even worse then it did after the Abu Gharib torture pics.

If Saudi Arabia-Arabs had not allowed US forces onto its land how would a invasion have taken place?
I never wrote i would die defending iraq or anything off the sort.

Please do tell us your great idea on how the iraqis could have stopped the US invading the country......not one muslim wanted iraq to get invaded but once it did what do you want people to do?

MastanKhan, this is really a gross exaggeration. Yes, there have been a handful of instances of US GI's raping women and murdering innocent people out of perversity. But this statement can be made about all armies through out history, even UN peace keeping forces. But it is way over the top to say that this is the average behavior of US forces or that there are roaming gang(s) of such US soldiers. This is very unusual behavior for US forces and most who have done such things are turned in by their fellow soldiers and punished. I had a high school classmate who went to Vietnam and shot a Vietnamese peasant for fun when he was drunk. He served 30 years in a US federal prison.

Actually, it would have been easy to prevent the US invasion. All that had to happen was for the Muslim world to insist that Saddam Hussein step down and accept exile somewhere, like Saudi Arabia. The Russians tried to convince him, but were ineffective. The Muslim world probably could have convinced him to step down, or to open Iraq completely to an aggressive UN inspection regime.

Your point about saddam just sitting back and accepting that he should go into exile to make the US happy is just plain silly.......he had nothing to do with 9/11......he had no WMD ,so why should he go into exile?
Smoebody like Bush would have taken the easy option and gone into exile with billions but not everybody is willing get bullied.
