Greece worries about Turkish defence program

Israel military spendings % of GDP: 4,73 + US funds + Free of charge orders
Turkish military spending % of GDP: 2,18

I think You are nowhere to judge military spendings of Turkey.

Difference is, the Israeli economy is booming and Israel is a democracy.

Turkish economy is getting flushed down the toilet and Turkey is a dictatorship that was never going to pass the 'humanity' test for joining the EU. :coffee:

Israel is radical religion state with terrorist government
gtfo now with your terrorist state Israel

Why Greeks are worried. They have fully NATO subsidized program.
Recently Trump has put pressure on NATO members to carry their own weight. Secondly in the last bailout by EU for Greece, they specifically laid out conditions on Greece limiting its spending. So Greece is very tight budgeted with its economy moving at a very slow pace.

I object to the wholesaler mentality that says that all Jews in the world have the same understanding of the existing Israeli government. Still most of them good people for me , in addition i always appreciate the hard work of the people of Jews.

But I think that the zionist understanding has poisoned this society to a great extent. Excuse me, when Shimon Peres (still alive or finally died ?) going to Palestine on tanks and heavy weapons with great happiness, was he a democratic leader?

Before accusing others as dictatorship and totalitarianism, one should look at his own state. Israel is kind of state of religion. And its principles are determined according to Jewish belief. If there are 4-5 Sharia states in the world, one of them is Israel. In addition, this state was established in an unlawful manner. And they still continues its unlawful occupation. The reason for this boldness is the infinite support that a handful of people holding world media and financial resources have given to the state of Israel. But this order will not last forever.

Today, this frenzy is hurting neighboring peoples. However, when things get out of control tomorrow, everyone will suffer.

  • Turkish economy is also booming. All export figures point out min %10 rise at each months compared to previous years and It is at least 3-4x bigger than Israel in worst case conditions.
  • Turkey is democratic social and secular Republic. Public votes for candidates and elected president serve proud Republic for a dedicated time. You should respect the choice of Turkish public If you are a real democrat but I don’t suppose It is about being democrat or not. “Dictatorship” word is a tool in your mouth used by the people like you to describe the people who leads a different way which is not benefical for your invasion plans. The real dictators are standing next to your borders who obeys your orders. If you have a dictatorship sensitivity, rise your head and take a look around to see them.
  • Turks do not need any test for humanity comprehension by any state. Israel can not even be in last line to say a word about humanity, While your criminal state is illegally invading, expainding and constructing buildings to others lands. You should better care your own business instead of spreading BS.

Turkish economy is in the toilet. This military spending of theirs is typical of a dictator trying to cover up its failings. No threat to Greece.

Exactly, look the lira rate, capital are fleeing like crazy  their gdp in dollar term is almost halved this year alone but they are busy imagining other strong country is scared of them

1 yuan how many TL ?

And what is lowest minimum wage(as us dollar) in China?

If TL is a toilet paper, we have a Chinese government that works great with another toilet paper in front of us.

The Chinese governments has been fighting for a long time against this phenomenon. As the country that makes the most investment in US bonds, it is a most succesful country with japans that uses the concept of competitive devaluations.

What military? If you really had a strong military like you claimed, ottoman would still exist today and you wouldn’t need join nato and lost pathetically large territory to the csar.

Trust me, what happened to turkey is not competitive devaluation

1 Lira is worth 1.27 Yuan as of now, the ''toilet paper'' as he calls it is still more worth than his own currency, this is the Chinese arrogance we deal with lately...

You have to look at total quantity as well, if you halve your money supply, of course the value on paper will double, but doesn’t change reality on the ground. It’s like one lira worth much more than 1 Japanese yen, but no sane one would claim Turks stronger or richer than Japanese

Had the sultan not bowing to trump, it would have dropped further

Gross External Debt was provided in Euros in the source above. I used the 1.11 USD to 1 Euro exchange rate of 2016 to convert it to USD.

Turkey Economy
GDP: $909.9 billion (nominal, 2018)/$2.320 trillion (PPP, 2018)

The only metric where Greece is doing better than Turkey is per capita GDP. Turkey has a way bigger economy, lower unemployment rate, less percentage of population living below poverty line, better economic growth rate, and way less total external debt(especially when u look at it as a percentage of GDP) than Greece.

On a separate note...what's ur beef with Turkey? I've never come across any Chinese who is that obsessed with Turkey. Most of them seem indifferent. R u even Chinese? Or r u a false flagger?
