Great scenery and beautifull mosques in the Middle East

Hi, I'm looking for beautifull mosques and scenery that's unknown to most. Since we have represetatives from across the middle east, it should be easy. And fun.

Idiots say the middle east is a desert, so please, prove them otherwise, with beatifull scenery, greenery, architecture and the like. Thanks.

Actually I can make a thread about the beautiful and ancient Arabian Peninsula or the Arab world but I am afraid that this is not the right part of the forum for it.

There are whole separate threads for this.

Regarding mosques then there have been two threads about mosques on this section in the last 2 days or so.

You are very much welcome 7abibi. I don't really post in other sections of the forum too - aside from the Middle East and Africa section (mainly for Arab matters) and then the "Arab Defence" forum.

Also there are some pictures that I cannot post somehow on this forum and you can't post more than 10 pictures in one post.

Yes, the Dhofar province is a thing of beauty. The most green province in the entire Middle East together with parts of Hejaz, Asir, large parts of Yemen (Al-Mahra etc.) and other areas.

Yes, I will in the future. Those posted in this thread are mostly from Hijaz, Southern KSA (what some would call Greater Hijaz), Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province, 2 from Ha'il and a few from Najd. Nearly all of the photos also have sources from Flickr or elsewhere (written in Arabic though). Those from Oman have a source too (Flickr) and you just have to click on them to get more information. But they are mostly from the Dhofar region. The mosques are familiar for all I presume. Feel free to just ask for more questions.

If I am not mistaken, Waleed Irfan is @Stealth... could be wrong too. But I will let him confirm. He did a few banners and logos. He is good with enhancing the quality if images.
