What's new

Great scenery and beautifull mosques in the Middle East

Thx. I also looked on the threads and found beautifull stuff in all countries.

.
I've come to SA once for Hajj and have seen the beautiful holy mosques, later I was shocked when I heard who have built them - non-Muslims. How beghairat some Muslims have become

Actually I can make a thread about the beautiful and ancient Arabian Peninsula or the Arab world but I am afraid that this is not the right part of the forum for it.

Arabian Peninsula has ancient history? Are you serious?

Here's is ancient Hijaz:
- kiling doughters
- raiding on eachother's caravans
- forty years of war and slaughtering each other because of a camel (Al Basoos war)

LOL
Islam has nothing to do with one's ethnicity or identity, being Muslim won't make you Arab, as following Christianity won't make you Jew because Jesus was Jew, etc.

@Takaavar

Open a history book. The Arabian Peninsula is ancient and is the original homeland of Arabs and Semitic people - the last group is the oldest group in our part of the world and so are its civilizations that spread across the entire Middle East, North Africa, Horn of Africa if we exclude Asia Minor (Anatolia - current day Turkey) and the Iranian Plateau.

Besides in human history if science is to believed then the Arabian Peninsula more precisely Yemen was the first inhabited place on earth outside of Africa and ancient cultures are native to the Arabian Peninsula - among the very oldest in the whole world.

Yes, the Jews and Americans built all of Makkah and Madinah cities that predate Islam with many centuries. That is right. Just like the House of Saud are Jews.

Killing "doughters"? You might learn to spell first. False and only among a minority. Besides men were always favored over women in all cultures. The people of what is now Hijaz were either Pagans (believed in ancient Semitic gods), Jews or Christians. If you want to talk about women then Queen Sheba of current day Yemen and Abyssinia (Ethiopia) is the first recorded queen in history and she features in all 3 Abrahamic religions and their holy scriptures. She predates the word Persian even which btw. was first mentioned by a Semitic people - the Assyrians.

Oh, sure. Raids just like everyone else did across the world and still do.

Hijaz is not a desert area but immensely diverse from the tropical Red Sea coastline (1500 km long in Hijaz) which has the second biggest coral reef after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and 1200 islands, tropical areas, plenty of greenery (as seen in this thread), high mountains, ancient cities and villages, unique traditional and ancient architecture, Makkah and Madinah, volcanic areas, all kind of deserts in the extreme interior, hills, national parks etc.

You might also read upon who influenced who more and the role of Semitic people in Iran before you spread nonsense.

But keep spreading bullshit if that makes you happy and being ignorant. I don't care. Just leave your nonsense and post it in another section and don't destroy this unless you want to get banned.

@kollang

Kollang, you don't need to make those comparisons since they are not accurate. But nice pictures. Similar landscapes I see like in parts of KSA.

I know your history better than yourself.

First of all, you are attributing civilizations of Semitic people to Arabs, which is fail. Or else I can also attribute civilzations of Aryans (and Indo-Europeans) to9 Persians and Iranian peoples as well.

"and the Iranian Plareau"? Lol'ed at that.

Besides in human history if science is to believed then the Arabian Peninsula more precisely Yemen was the first inhabited place on earth outside of Africa and ancient cultures are native to the Arabian Peninsula - among the very oldest in the whole world.

There's no honor in "being the first inhabited place" or whatever, or else Africans are the most superior peoples on the planet right?

Yes, the Jews and Americans built all of Makkah and Madinah cities that predate Islam with many centuries. That is right. Just like the House of Saud are Jews.

The two mosques are built by Europeans, FYI. By the way, although that looks to be sarcasm, but yeah, actually Medina (and Hijaz in general) was a Jew city, later Arabs migrated frmo Yemen and mixed with them.

Queen Sheba "is recorded in history" thanks to the Bible and Quran and so forth, but you are assuming she is the first queen in the world lol.

" the word Persian even which btw. was first mentioned by a Semitic people - the Assyrians." again lol'ed at that.
You are repeatedly attribute civilizations of other Semetic people to your own, that proves your own ethnicity doen't have any.

Oh, sure. Raids just like everyone else did across the world and still do.
Yes every nation including us did raid as well, but not like them who do it for the sake stealing and looting each other, but for the sake of humanity instead, go study about Cyrus the Great a bit.

Every single land on this planet is diverse to some degree. The important thing here is that 99% of the land is a worthless desert.

You might also read upon who influenced who more and the role of Semitic people in Iran before you spread nonsense.
If influencing others per se is something to be proud of, then the savage Mongol-animals must be the most proud people here.

Yes, I saw that.

Semitic people are all closely related in terms of ancestry, culture, origins, history, customs, religions and geography. Besides language. Can you tell the same about an Portuguese and Spaniard compared to an Iranian? Or an Pole compared to an Iranian? In fact Spaniards and Portuguese people have Arab blood after 800 years of Arab rule.

Talking about Spain then it was ruled by Arabs for 800 years and we left their biggest historical attractions to this day (most visited and admired) such as the Alhambra, Granada, Cordoba Mosque, Alcazar in Sevilla etc. Besides 25% of all Spanish words have an Arabic origin including nearly all of Spain's regions, major cities such as the capital Madrid etc.

Those are only linguistic groupings and have nothing to do with what I mentioned above. Besides Arabs are by far the biggest Semitic group today and their ancestors are those ancient Semitic people whom they share a common origin with and whom they have mixed with and interacted with.

No, but it is an scientific fact.

Yes, Hijaz was Jewish (LOL) and Makkah and Madinah was built by Europeans who have no access to the holy cities to begin with. That is right. Oh, Arabs are not from Yemen but lived all over the Peninsula and outside of it. Arabic is a CENTRAL SEMITIC language while the ancient languages of Yemen, some of which are still spoken today, belong to the Southern Semitic linguistic branch. Such as the Mehri language.

Mehri language - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not that I expected a self-professed "Arab/Semitic" expert to know this of course.

Well, the first documented one. Can you mention me another one that dates back to over 3000 years ago?

Well, no we don't we just happened to conquer the whole known world from Spain/Portugal in the West to Pakistan in the East besides having colonies in Eastern Africa, South East Asia and having influenced all the Muslims countries of the world, including your own. But Arabs are Semitic people. The biggest group so if anyone has a "right" to talk in their name then it is us.

Yes, that is right.

Only in your ignorant and stupid mind.

No, which legacy did the Mongols leave compared to us Arabs? The answer is noting in comparison. Just notice which alphabet your fellow Iranian used when he wrote to another fellow Iranian to give you an hint.

Besides I can clearly see that you are only trolling here so I leave the rest to the moderators.

EDIT:

This thread was not supposed to be another fight between us Arabs and you Iranians. It was for the purpose of sharing our lands to an outsider (non Middle Eastern person) who asked for it. A thread were we could admire/see new sides of the countries in the region.

You clearly could not take that I posted a lot of arguably beautiful pictures from KSA that others admired and thanked me for and that is why you are attempting to troll this thread. Just shows who has inferiority complexes and who has not. Just admit it.

I have no problem with thanking something I like even if it is about Iran as I have thanked Kollang's posts in this thread. So don't perpetrate your own problems on me when/if you reply with your nonsense again.

Differences in language have nothing to do with race. Indo-European languages are generally more different (even Iranian languages are so diverse and impossible to understand a native speaker of another language of the Iranian family), while Semetic languages (as well as Turlic and Altaic ones) are much more similar to each other for linguistic reasons and the structure of these language.

You do need to go that far and compare Semetic people to prove that they have "the same blood". Just take a look at your own people:

You know this guy. He is considered Arab. If you look more exactly, he is a Black, so are the people of his country.

Again attributing everthing to your own race

You have no idea of linguistics and the rational behind such groupings. They are not based on the place where the speakers have lived. Examples: Balochi is a North Western Iranian language, while it is spoken in Pakistan and Baluchestan, south east of Iran. Or Ossetic language is an Iranian language of its North Eastern branch, while it is spoken in Ossetia, north west of Iran.

Not that I expected a self-professed "Arab/Semitic" expert to know this of course.

LoL'ed at the slash between "Arab" and "Semitic"

We ourselves have already several alphabets, much better than your bullshit one:

So, I was right which is also the historical, linguistic, ancestral, genetic reality so no need to tell me that.

First of all Semitic people are not a completely homogenous group in terms of geographical extent and inhabit a wide region. Much wider than Indo-Iranians for example.

Besides skin color has nothing to do with facial features or actual genetics. Sudanese Arabs are people of an mixed Arab and Afro-African heritage (Nubians mainly) but their entire culture, language, religion, customs, is Arab just like nearly every single Arab Sudanese have some degree of Arab ancestry.

Omar al-Bashir is of Nubian ancestry too which is dominating since a mixture between Blacks and Caucasians mostly ends in Black being the dominant color of the child/traits etc.

Besides you cannot speak in the name of Persians since only 60% of Iran are Persians and all Iranians are not looking similar at all to begin with either.

Having light skin/blue eyes etc. is not foreign for Arabs. After all Arabs are a Caucasian race and the Arab world is located not far away from Europe.

No, the Arabs ruled as rulers in Spain, Arabic culture, language, Islam etc. predominant and so did the architecture etc. Besides the other group in Spain - the Moors were a mixture of Arabs, Berbers and to a smaller extent Africans.

Besides Berbers are part of the Afro-Asiatic group of people which Semitic people are a part of.

What are you talking about? The first traces of Arabic language are not found in Yemen. The Arabic language is a CENTRAL Semitic language. That is just the reality. Your examples are a fallacy.

Yes, sure it is. Alphabets is a Semitic thing. The first Persian alphabet was based on the Aramaic (a Semitic language) and it's cuneiform. Semitic alphabets are also much older.
Old Persian appears to have been established in written form by 519 BCE, following the creation of the Old Persian script, inspired by the cuneiform script of the Assyrians.[31]

No, you started this pointless discussion for the reasons I already stated and you can't fool me. I usually read people like an open book. I can already make a profile out of you based solely on your posts here and predict the outcome of any discussion with you. It's not really that hard. Denying the reality seems like a typical trait among your likes. But whatever. If that makes your life somehow better then so be it.

@Aeronaut

Can you deal with that troll, Takavaar. It would be highly appreciated since he is obviously trolling for whatever complexes he is dealing with and actively trying to destroy this thread and go completely off-topic.

If I'm a troll, why are you replying me? I''ve already asked you to stop it or continue this somewhere else, but you replied here, so it's obvious who is the troll here.

BTW, I have answers for every single sentence you said in your last post, but let's don't continue this. Just let me let you know that there's no such thing as "Caucasian race", it's an obsolete theory.

And lol at calling the anti-Iranian mod Aeronaut. Whenever you guys don't know what to say in discussions with Iranians, you call your dady Aeronaut.
