They like to cut corners- look at the fiasco that was the Delhi Metro's Airport line- shoddy maintenence, loss making and reduced speed of the trains- the DMRC had to step in and take ownership of the line and now speeds of the trains has increased to near full speed, ridership is up and the line if profit making! Simiarly look at how cheap the Mumbai metro looks and comapre it to L&T built Hydrabad metro or the Delhi Metro (much of it has been built by L&T)- there just is no comparison.

L&T can be trusted more than Reliance to deliver on quality, on time and on budget.

Yes, same. Yesterday he made statement that he wants to see Pipavav as top defense manufacturer. He is not really in Top of any business he is doing.

RIL of other brother is doing well. But investors are at loss for many years. Share price has given almost 0 to negative return for many years. Reliance growth engine halted since Media became active. Long gone are the days when import duty use to be decreased just for a night to help Reliance while other companies like Bombay Dyeing suffered.

L & T is a giant and has build a huge manufacturing capability. Recently L & T was selected to build the core of a fusion vessel to be build with international co operation in France.

It will adjust the leve in water. if it is parked near dock and truck want to come on ship to unload it but ships level is one meter high so truck an not come on ship and goods have to be transferred on truck using crain. This ship will sink by one meter to adjust the level with dock for easy entry of vehicle on ship deck directly.

May not be super secrete but very few country has this.
