Govt plans to induct experts into ministries, likely to ruffle feathers

Looks promising step by PTI: "Technical Advisers" would be hired in Management Pay (MP) scale or Special Professional Pay Scales (SPPS), but practically would be grade-23 officers, since a federal secretary had grade-22 and pay would be given according to role and Market Salary Trends.

Replicating US Administration, but give them a more honorable title Technical Advisor name should be improved to Management Technical Advisors.

He confirmed that these advisers would be above the secretaries and below the rank of federal ministers.

Dr Hussain said the pay scales of management positions (MP-1) were being improved to attract quality experts. An MP-I adviser would now be getting more than Rs700,000 per month.

Of course the UK imports vegetables, labour is expensive, it's limited to 1 growing season. In Pakistan we are blessed with multiple growing seasons, cheap labour, why are we importing vegetables? Why are local producers not ruthlessly exploiting these opportunities?

90% of Pakistani's I know who have moved abroad have become a success. The shortcoming is not in the people, it is in the culture and the environment. Pakistan should be bending over backwards to accomodate people who have these experiences and changed attitudes. In their own capacity these people can bring about change.

I give you 1 simple example. Azad Chaiwalla - born in Pakistan, eventually went to the UK, has businesses in the UK, Dubai and Pakistan. Currently based in Mirpur AJK creating a college to teach people skills and encourage entrepreneurial approach to business. The people who graduate from his short courses won't look for government jobs, they'll be earning their own money, creating thier own opportunities. He is 1 man doing a small bit, but he's a gem. At a time where our youth don't have professional skills, he's seen an opportunity and exploited it. He'll be making money from these courses.

There are thousands of smaller example, look how many tech startups have Pakistanis who have been abroad involved with them. I suggest you go abroad - look at how hard the world works, how innovative it is.

China became what it is because it sent thousands abroad every year to get PhD's and then bring that knowledge back to China. They then created an environment for them to succeed.

You have to be joking, what the actual fu$k?!

All because of thou incompetence. All yall do is complain while not doing any actual sh$t. Heck most of you lazy arses dont even work!!

This isnt directed to you specifically, it's for the whole nation.
It's not about the people. Its the system which inherently lacks the ability to compell people to work. The same people when go abroad work like machines. The present Pakistani system promotes a culture of corruption, nepotism and slavery. It needs to be changed.

Man, poverty has the power to lead someone to change his faith. Struggling for money doesn't always mean that lust of wealth allures you. Mundane requirements are the main igniting source that drives a humam being to do something for their survival. These requirements can't be fulfilled with only hopes and desires and and of course fighting for your survival is a mandatory thing.

That might have been true 20 years ago, but is not true today. There are still some chutiya people who don't work and claim benefits and defraud the benefits system, but most people work hard, even if they do milk the benefits system on the side.

People seem to have this idea that the benefits system is rivers of milk and honey - it's not. You have to compromise your faith and your lifestyle for a few hundred pounds a month.

Of all the people I know under 50, everyone works (apart from 2 guys who are bums). The only people not in work in that age range is women who are full time mothers, and that is a most noble thing. People are busy trying to better themselves, everyone of the professional class i know has a day job and an attempt to earn money on the side or investment.

It's a culture where people want to be successful, see opportunities and roadmaps to success and so they follow them. In Pakistan there is no culture of hardwork leading to success.

Be ready to welcome President General Qamar Bajwa.

how much do 3 million overseas earn?

sood ka alishan nizam??????... will fail you everytime,,,(eating a pig is your own choice)

Why are they unemployed? Why is it even 220 million when they can't afford so much population? Why sitting idle creating chaos destroying properties and wasting govt may? Even a country like Bangladesh is exporting 35 billion$ worth goods.

Nobody told you to eat pigs.

Coconut babuz are a Cancer to PakState and the mutation it took in the 90s has resulted in the almost collapse of PakState.

Pak has become SoftState because of this... political interference and then combined loot/plunder by both is epic.

Conconuts consider them superior race above ordinary Paks... a kinda of brahmins...and the rest untouchables.

We need to cut 50% bureaucracy and agument it with Artificial Intelligence and automation... furthermore, there needs to be performance based job security... clear KPIs managed by automated system. No more promotion boards... and we need to kill this DMG gang/maffia.

Same for FBR which is essential component of CriminalEnterprise.

We need to design the State from ground up... starting with new Performance Based Democratic System... because this MarasiUnitedFront aka political parties are nothing more than maffias headed by Dons... Noora/Ghardari/Fuzla/and the rest...
Isn't it you who you used to say that Presidential system is coming so where is it?

The whole system is corrupt, old, inefficient, weak and generalized. It needs complete overhauling. The whole bureaucracy needs to be hired on specialised qualifications rather than passing too generalized examination and on the other hand power needs to be delegated at root level to effectively run the machinery of government. When criterion to selecting a person in a system of government is too generalized, the system could not be hoped of going towards a positive direction.

The whole nation needs overhauling. My gym branch manager is so f**king unprofessional that I don’t need to wonder how the rest of bureaucrats are. Incompetent, ethicless and have no morals or values.
