I have very good news ...

ISA finished assembling of safir 2 ( simorgh ) space launch vehicle in imam khomeini space center in south east ( chabahar ) ...

we will see the first launch ( tulu - simorgh ) next month

and another news ...

I am working on a CGI from our first passenger jet ( official design )

and

next month wait for other new stuffs

Soheil, when is Sharif Sat going to be launched?do you know?As far as I know, it has a camera with 5 or 4 m accuracy built inside Iran.It's the most important part,that we are capable of making much better cameras in near future.5 m is still pretty good for a head start.

I don't know if 5 m resolution fits for spying,but yes, it can also be a spy satellite.
Iran is going to launch 0.5 and 1 m resolutions satellites,which are being used by world powers in next 5 years.
I think you would be surprised to know that Iran didn't have a space agency until late 2005 and it launched its first communication satellite in 2008.To be neutral,it's impressive for a country that didn't have any space programs 3 years earlier.

IEI ( SAIRAN ) working hard on cameras ...

for example tulu has a 20m camera ...

we will see the launch ( Sharifsat ) in March inshallah

we have a plan for SAR satellites ... less than 1m 0_0
