If the aid for the hungry people can be used for weapons against India... there is certainly no guarantee thats drones will not be used against Indians. So US should not give any such weapons to Pakistan till Pakistan guarantees proper use of aid and limits the use of weapons

Hungry ppl,how 'worried' Indians are for our ppl, let me give u some advice the way u ppl are concerned about our 'hunger' if the same way u will be worried about hunger in ur country, then it will better for ur India & for ur ppl..

The aid in question was military aid, not civilian aid.

there is certainly no guarantee thats drones will not be used against Indians.

If necessary, and at the appropriate time, all available weapons should be used against India. Do you expect Pakistan to mothball some weapons because the enemy is different?

We are not worried about people of Pakistan we are worried about people of India. But definetly we would be worried when some money poor is being used against us..

Once again, at the moment, the weapons are needed to fight terrorists. Once that threat is neutralized, the weapons will be used wherever else they are needed. It is common sense. Everybody, including India and the US, knows that is tue.

It is required for taking out terrorists, u know how much it costs to keep a F-16 flying or a Mirage flying in the air compared to flying cost of drone? moreover the drones are more effective as sounds produced by jets keep terrorists on the move, Drones are our need & we want to get it, simple as that, no need for India to rant, is there any guarantee that Indian weapons will not be used against Pak, answer is big NO, why do Indians expect guarantee from us...

The mess at our home, god willingly, is pretty much cleaned & we also give a damn to what u ppl buy coz its 'necessary for ur defense' & same logic applies on Pakistan, because Pakistan is a sovereign nation & has all the right in the world to take steps necessary for its defense..

Pakistan calls it "damn for our buying" but we call defense at the diplomatic level to avoid any offense with Pakistan when we oppose any procurement by Pakistan.

It is good for us if Pakistan keeps his mouth shut for Indian procurement. But do not expect the same from the Indian side because it is not good for India if Pakistan is armed to teeth against India... Why would we like that to happen....

what did u prove ? check my previous post and excuse me for being impatient....

All i said was though the pretext of these drones may be for taliban or some crap for now, the end result wud be to use those machines against India becoz India is a bigger adversary... and obviously we Indians wud be concerned abt it.. to this sbdy brought a comparision with MKIs,Nuke subs. Which is illogical becoz we haven't acquired MKIs under some other pretext but use it as a multi-purpose !!! we bought them for Defence against china and pakistan IN THE FIRST PLACE !!! which isn't the case with drones suggested by Musharraf or for that matter any other advanced US weaponry to eradicate extremists in ur country, which rn't just restricted to their one assignment....

Pretext implies deception; there is no deception involved here. The weapons will be used for their stated purpose but, after that purpose is exhausted, we are not going to throw away the weapons. What does India expect?

Madam you should understand this. No one wants an unstable Pakistan. No one can deny the existence of Pakistan.....But at the same time no one wants armed to teeth Pakistan. I think this resolves your queries....
