Swat area has ancient Takht-i-Bahi commonly mispronounced as Takht-i-Bhai is an Indo-Parthian archaeological site of an ancient Buddhist monastery in Mardan, as well. A common rich and verdant area for Buddhism and Hindusim.

I am not much into history though...very rudimentary knowledge here.

Baloch have Arab ancestry. Pushtuns have Persian/Afghan ancestry. Punjabhis have Turko-Mongol and Greek Ancestry. Sindhis have Arab and Turko-Mongol Ancestry. We have nothing to do with pagan Indians.

There is nothing more beautiful than a son discovering that he has so much in common with his father even after he is gone

Our ancestors spoke many languages, were part of many empires, followed many religions, took part in many wars and followed many professions. We are proud of all our ancestor's achievements and today were are Pakistani Muslims and speak Urdu language. Human evolved from single cells to intelligent beings and we are also proud of all our biological ancestors. What is your point ? Should we only be proud of particular ancestors at one point in history ? What about our ancestors 200,000 years ago that learned how to use fire ? May be you should watch 'Quest for Fire' film since I am very very proud of these ancestors !

As i have been told by my prophet,my ancestors were Hazrat Adam(A.S)and Bibi Hawa(A.S),between me and them all folllwed their age and mind, and did were their mind took them,some followed stars,some prayed to idols,some were buddhists and from last 1000 year,since Islam came in our lands all have been Muslims.

Not much is known other than that he was an advanced Buddhist Master who spread Tantric/Vajrayana form of Buddhism to Tibet...This form of Buddhism is different from Mahayana Buddhism which spread to China and Far Eastern Asia earlier....This particular gentleman was alive around 8th century AD
